My last oxygen supplier was GREAT! Apria, not even one star. They have to travel over an hour and a half to my house, and today for example, my oxygen concentrator is due for maint. and I'm supposed to sit home all day. I've been hung up on and if it was up to them, they'd just send things in the mail and avoid their customers altogether. Also the canula's they use rub my nose raw sometimes when I NEVER had that happen with the other company, so rather than have a service rep come to my house and let me find one that fits right, has a ONE piece foam ear piece instead of one you have to tape on to keep it from falling off when I'm asleep, they just sent a box of different ones except the one that'd probably be the best...the kind that covers the nose AND mouth. Customer service is totally absent with this company and they need to get people that speak ENGLISH in dealing with an English speaking majority!! The only choice I have is to put up with them or completely change insurance companies because the GOOD one is "out of network" so they can save a dime and add to their bottom line while the customer/patient comes LAST!!!

This is the 3rd. time I have experienced the same problem trying to contact Apria about a billing error. When calling any of their phone numbers listed on the bill, you get told to press 3 for billing questions. Of course nothing happens no matter what number you press. They are aware of this because I reported this problem to them last year. This year I changed insurance companies and called Apria to let them know who to send the invoice to. Each month I get a response from the previous insurance comapny that I no longer have coverage with them and a week later I get a bill from Apria for more money than they billed my previous insurance company for. What's with that? How many times do you have to tell someone somthing before it sinks in. I am now going to notify my credit card company to deny payment until Apria decides to do their job properly. I tried clicking on the negative sign for a rating, but even that doesn't work!

3/31/2016 Apria Healthcare - WTF happened to your customer service
WTF happened to your customer service department!!! Look at all the comments that your business does not get back to.Used to be great with response times now you do not give a shit or do not care.I have been on the phone holding for over 1 hr and still nothing.Guess I will consider a new oxygen company and voice my opinions with my health care team.Horrible service and now you are partners with kaiser for some more customers only for longer wait times.

2/26/2016 Apria Healthcare - I called Apria to order a replacement part for my CPAP
I called Apria to order a replacement part for my CPAP unit which connects their humidifier to the air filter. The small elbow joint plastic part that connects the humidifier to the air hose assembly needed to be replaced. I was connected to their supply department and I spent nearly 30 minutes trying to speak to one (non-English speaking) representative after another, each time they asked for the same verification questions, never getting to what I wanted. After reading the comments from other people, I can sympathize with their frustration. The company is lacking personnel that can help you.

The worse customer service I have ever had...they should receive -5 stars it was so bad. Some years back they were pretty good but now they are below the bottom of the barrel. Had been approved for a a CPAP machine through my insurance, customer service rep from Apria, if you can call it that, called left a message to call her back, called back at least 10 times over a course of two weeks leaving a message for her to call me, never got a call back. Found another much more reputable provider, had my insurance call Apria because I could not get a hold of anyone that would cancel my order, my insurance got a hold of someone, got the order cancelled, never got a call asking why I was dropping their service. Bye, Bye, Apria, good riddance. I would definitely not recommend Apria to anyone

I changed insurance affective Jan. 01, 2016 from Humana back to United Health Care. As soon as I was approved-early December I notified Apria. I was surprised to see later in Jan. that Apria debited my account once for $81.72 and another for $75.10, I contacted the billing dept. Jan. 30th 2016 and the lady said she could see one mistake and would refund the $81.72 in the next week, the other, which had been denied by Humana and later approved would be resubmitted and it would take up to 30 days for a refund. She also said she would follow up!

Today, Feb. 13th 2016 I checked my account for a refund, nope, but they (Apria) had once again debited my account-this time for $82.06. I'm furious! What does it take to get good service from this company?

The company is a total mess and puts its patient health at risk by not being able to process simple medical doctor orders, leaving patients out in the rain waiting for equipment that never shows up.

Avoid at all cost!!!

I had been a customer with Apria for many years, I had great service because I would always call to speak with one rep Selina. She was always so helpful, I learned a couple months she was fired, the person who told me she was gone Davida acted as if she was proud to say she was fired. Selina provided me with the best help ever. She was always kind and would go the extra mile to ensure I would receive the best care. I really miss the courtesy the rep showed me, she actually knew her job and wasn't satisfied until I was satisfied
