Lousy incompetent people work in these CS departments. I needed my DSL reconnected and already I have spent 90 minutes being transferred, disconnected and rerouted.
Can you believe this is TELEPHONE company and calls from an ATT phone to ATT toll free numbers are dropped? What a joke!!!!!!!!! They should be thankful they are not elected to office and they are the monopolist provider in my area.

7/28/2011 Bellsouth (AT&T) FastAccess DSL - TERRIBLE PROVIDER. REPEAT...TERRIBLE......Switched
TERRIBLE PROVIDER. REPEAT...TERRIBLE......Switched over to AT&T DSL last month to attempt to save money. Only been a customer for 3 weeks and will be returning to Comcast next month. I pay for 6mb down and 75% of the time I get under 3mb, latency is almost always terrible (over 500ms), about 4-5 times a day, everyday you lose connection from anywhere from a few seconds to 5-10 minutes. It became quite clear after half a dozen calls to them that this is expected service. You can just tell they know there's nothing they can do to "fix" your problems because tech support knows this is normal. Do yourself a HUGE favor and never deal with this terrible provider. Too bad it cost me $75 for a modem to learn the hard way.

i am a current att customer and i HATE,HATE,HATE them there customer service sucks they never transfer you to who u need to speak to and the only reason i still have them is because i refuse to give them $300 to disconnect the services. i was suppose to be on there $14.95 a month plan and i have been paying $58.00 for 9 months when does the promotion kick in and i opened to acct be as that i have t residents and they send me a bill for $1.68 yes thats right $1.68 both bills are on automatic bill pay on my credit cards which have more than enough funds and my internet service is disconnected. OH ANNNNND YOU CAN NEVER FIND A PHONE NUMBER FOR THEM I HATE THEM!

Bell South has the worst customer service system ever. They have had a problem for two months with their DSL system. They have denied it by telling their customers that the problem is in their equipment. The signal that they advertise is 1500 kbps and mine has been as low as 290 on a test.

Worst customer service no 24 hour support and takes forever to get an operator on the phone.... Now a comcast user and have much better service and support. Would never recommend att/ bellsouth to anyone and if you're already a customer would highly suggest trying out comcast.

My att fastaccess service goes out at least twice a month. It is a fiber optic connection. I don't understand why it just cuts out for many hours at a time.
