I have had callwave since they first began and they just stop service, I know they sent out e-mails that they were going out of business but they also said they would let us know what numbers we could use.
I really do wish we had it back, I miss it terribly as I depended on it when I was on the computer to receive all my calls.
CALLWAVE PLEASE PLEASE COME BACK !!

1/1/2013 I received a nice e-mail from CallWave customer
I received a nice e-mail from CallWave customer care stating that since I paid the annual subscription my service will be continued until 06/30/13. I realize that everyone is having problems and had I had been notified that they were going to cut my service the last of December 2012 I would have been able to adjust. Instead I have missed calls about a friends death, about a debt due me was going to be late and many other calls that have affected my life. It would be nice if Callwave would have helped me in cancelling my account.

11/23/2012 callwave not working
Use it for years for my business and for them to just stop with no notice is prettey crappy now all my customers assume I have gone out of business. That's what you get when you deal with internet businesses everything is automated and you talk to no one.

11/19/2012 CallWave stopped as of 10/31/2012
My service appears to have stopped as of 10/31/12, and their website is down. I assume they went out of business? Pretty crappy way to do it: the phone number I've had for several years is now in limbo. I can't port my phone number to another provider like eFax without informing Callwave first -- and there's no way to contact them now.

I cannot log on to Callwave. I have been a customer since the service started. My bill has always been paid thru direct billing to my bank.If your company is out of business please let your customers know, and quit billing my bank. You are a communications service that has a big communications problem. Connect me immediately or contact me about a refund.

Sounds like the Callwave name is "coming back".

Just got the email below this morning, coincidentally right before this article came out. This company is a complete joke. Check their record out on BBB or ask some former employees. Some of their actions may even be seen as criminal.

Dear XXXXX,

On September 16th, 2012 at midnight CallWave will no longer renew monthly or annual subscriptions. Your service will continue to operate through the end of your subscription, after which your service will be terminated. CallWave management has decided to discontinue the CallWave business and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you. We have truly appreciated your business and wish you the best.

For instructions on how to cancel your service click here. Don't forget to cancel your busy-call-forwarding feature with your telephne company.

Thank you for being a CallWave customer.

Sincerely,
CallWave Customer Care.

chrispskin...ouch that hurts. The technology for the internet voicemail service has aged. We will be giving customers suggestions for alternate services over the next few months so they can port their numbers over to new services. Thank you for being a customer and sorry you feel the way you do.

I never received any information where I can go with my Callwave number that I have had for so many years. Is this information still available? Please advise who will transfer my number.
