9/8/2015 If they had a star rating with a negative for Chase Mortgage
If they had a star rating with a negative, that is what I would rate the service. I'm certain they don't care about service, but it will catch up to them. Their phone service line treat customers in humane! After finally getting a rep on the phone ( over one hour) he put me on hold for 10 minutes then I was disconnected.

7/14/2015 Chase Mortgage - My husband passed away in 2013. I was not
My husband passed away in 2013. I was not completely aware of how much paper work I had to go thru for a loan modification. I was not on the loan at the time of his death. It had been 4 months or longer with no answer of what they are going to do to try and help me. I get depressed and upset in the customer service lady telling me that the under writing department do not like this or that dates on paper work. It see as if they do not want to help me. I do not have good credit or can not get any equity out of the house. I have requested to see if they can put the behind payments at end of the loan. I have did everything possible to get the payments up to date. I am a senior citizen hopefully I can get help soon.

2/6/2014 My experience trying to modify my home loan with Chase Mortgage
Recently I gave it "one more try" in an attempt to ask for a modification of my home loan. I have been with CHASE for 15 years and recently looked at my statement to see htat after I refinanced a few years back, I pay $1000 per month, over $700 goes towards interest and $200+ to the principle. I spoke to the rudest customer service lady ever. I told her that I thought I would be a great candidate for modification because I have been such a good customer. Never missed a payment, never been late. I deserve a chance right? In fact I had to file bankruptcy after my salary changed I lost about $8000 of my income, but I kept paying CHASE. This lady informed me that I would not get a modification JUST because I paid on time and never missed. I needed to show a "hardship" WHen I asked if this meant I needed to STOP paying them she said "No of course not" but continued to tell me in her snarkey manner that "you don't just get it because you think you are a good customer". I wanted to tell her, "It's my paid on time money that allows you to offer the modification help to everybody but me" But after almost having to get mad to make a point I rescended my answers to just yes or no.

I have read several other reviews about CHASE giving people the "run around". I am sick of it. I tried to return a call to them and NO ONE could connect me to who ever had called me even though I had an EXTENSION number. I am looking for other financing as of right now. It is clear that I have paid all of this money to these people at 9% interest and the only one getting paid is them. I still owe just as much as I did when I refinanced.

12/4/2013 Do not use Chase Mortgage - Advice for a real estate broker
I am a real estate broker. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.... This company (Chase)is a nightmare!!! Turn them in to the Better Business Bureau and the Dept. of Consumer Affairs online. Please ask to talk to a supervisor every time you can't get what you need. This will make it difficult for them and maybe they will quit giving their customers the runaround. I have been trying for over a week to get a loan payoff. I have waited on the phone 35-40 mins. each time I call. The first time I called they said they would fax me the payoff in 5 business days which is ridiculous. But I sent the mortgage authorization as requested. Then when it didn't come I called back (35 mins. on hold) and was told because they missed a payment I would have to call this other number. They informed me it would be a week to 10 days again. The first time I talked to a Chase person they knew the payment was late and told me they would fax it to me. So I asked to talk to a supervisor, she told me that is their procedure. I said if this is your procedure why wasn't I told the very first time I called to call the other number. She said sorry that I wasn't told the first time.

My husband passed away on Jan.11, 2011. He had no LIFE INSURANCE do to medical reason. We were and now alone I am raising 2 of my grand children. For 6 mo I shopped around to refinance my home to pay off credit cards etc. Even my bank denied me for not having the required monthly income. CHASE was the ONLY BANK that was willing to help me. And DID!! I heard HORROR STORIES about CHASE and I am totally SHOCKED. CHASE was very UNDERSTANDING, COMPASSION, and GUIDED ME STEP BY STEP TO FILL OUT THE APPLICATION. I was able to PAY OFF ALL MY DEBT, REDUCED MY MONTHLY MORTGAGE etc. All I can say is that CHASE was a GOD SEND TO ME. And I will be for EVER GRATEFUL.

4/14/2012 Chase Mortgage - Chase Pay OffApril 11, 2012To Whom It May
Chase Pay Off

April 11, 2012

To Whom It May Concern:
I was denied a loan modification on my 1st which was ASC and so I decided to sell my house as a standard sale and since I am a realtor, I decided to list my property myself which got several offers after two days of listing it. Since I was in escrow, I needed a payoff on my 1st with ASC which I received, but the 2nd mortgage which was Chase, that was a different story. Here is my review below.

I would like to thank Sergio @ 0393586 at the Pay off department who is an outstanding agent and also a dedicated worker who helped me obtain my payoff statement to payoff my loan with Chase. I contacted Old Republic (Chase Attorney) and the person that was in charge of my account with Chase who’s name is Alex ex 3224229 at Loss Mitigation department. Old Republic and Chase agent Alex @ ex 3224229 was UNSUCCESSFUL with my request to obtain a payoff on my loan except for Sergio who immediately put my request in and was able to get a payoff to escrow so I can pay my home equity line of credit in full. I highly recommend Sergio who will help any of his customers to the limits!

Sincerely,
Chase valued customer #

10/25/2011 Chase Mortgage - I have been trying to get my annual escrow
I have been trying to get my annual escrow statement account info from June 2010 - June 2011 and have had nothing but the run around from Chase. They state I am in mitigation because I applied for assistance in Aug 2009 and denied in January 2010, but somehow they still show a pending loan modification. I have spent three months talking and writing to everyone under the sun and still no resolution. They are holding my escrow overage hostage until “they” decide when to remove the mitigation from my account.

As customers, we do have rights. Write to United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of RESPA and Interstate Land Sales, 451 7th Street, SW, Room 9154, Washington, D.C. 20410. This just might get them moving faster!!!!!
