11/14/2016 Chicago Tribune - About three weeks ago I received a postcard
About three weeks ago I received a postcard indicating we would begin receiving the Sunday Tribune on a trial basis, and if we didn't cancel it we would be charged. I didn't order it and I don't want it! I called the Tribune "customer service" and explained this, and told them we would be out of town. I was assured it would be canceled. When we returned the following Tuesday, it was on our sidewalk! I called again, and became quite angry with your representative, and was again assured it would be stopped. This Sunday, we not only received the Tribune, but the Herald as well!!! What is wrong with your department?? Do you really think this is the way to gain customers. We will soon be leaving town again, so I have notified the Elgin Police about this problem. What does it take???I have wasted way too much of MY time on this!!! I want your representative to come to my house and pick up these papers. I await some kind of explanation. You have become a real nuisance!

11/4/2016 Chicago Tribune - It is 3:40PM on 11/03/16 and I have not yet
It is 3:40PM on 11/03/16 and I have not yet received my daily paper which should be a copy relative to CUBS Series Victory. I called at 9:00 AM and could not get through to customer service. Went on line at that time and reported a non delivery of the paper. I was assured that I would receive it within the hour. Again reported the non delivery at 3:15 and now I am supposed to expect A COPY IN THE MORNING. I have been on hold for 33 minutes waiting for someone to answer my phone call to customer service. Foreigner - hardly understandable - answered and said he was very sorry but tribune had production problems today - some got paper others did not. I am an other - an angry other - as the Tribune has taken sweet advantage of its regular paying customers to satisfy what ever other need it had to satisfy due to the popularity of today's edition. In fact I am a very upset "regular" customer who wants his earned issue of the Cubs' series winning Chicago Tribune newspaper and do not want to have to wait for it until it is old news!!!!

It seems this is just a rehash of all the above. The Chicago Tribune's slogan "World's Greatest Newspaper" has been dragged through the mud by the present owners. I am sure that Col. McCormick and Bob Patterson are rolling over in their graves with what has happened to their newspaper. Their customer home delivery service is a total farce. There is no customer recourse to the problem of late deliveries or no delivery at all. Stupid me, I just renewed for a year. Could this be the year from hell or maybe the paper will just die and put us all out of our misery. Tribune management, thanks for nothing. This is what 60 years of receiving the Tribune gets you. And yes, recourse to the Philipines is akin to Chinese water torture. There is no recourse, very crafty of management, I am sure they are very proud of themselves. Thank You.

I concur with the above comments. The Tribune customer service sucks. They are located in the Phillipines and don't have a clue of what is going on. They have a script they read from and if they have to divert from it they are totally lost. I will be cancelling mu subscription. The last 2 weeks I have received horrendous service and so have most of my neighbors who receive the paper. You cannot contact the Tribune directly even on their suppose 312 area code, that even gets transferred to overseas. I love the paper when I receive but I would rather go to Walgreen down the street and pay extra for it then continue to receive this terrible service.

8/23/2016 Chicago Tribune - 8/14/16 Again, I did not receive my SUNDAY
8/14/16 Again, I did not receive my SUNDAY newspaper. I have had it!!! My husband called to cancel on Sunday morning, he got a person, OMG. Of course customer service tried to talk my husband into keeping our subscription. He said no, we were suppose to receive a refund, it's been over a week and no refund.

I only get Tribune delivered on Sundays, no delivery this week--called the Robot and now the option is "credit or delivery the day after tomorrow". Opted for the super late delivery, still no paper! Called the Phillipines for credit. Operator politely advised that there is no one in Chicago that the customer can speak to. Very lame customer service, Tribune.

4/30/2016 Chicago Tribune - this is the worst service I have ever seen. 3 days
this is the worst service I have ever seen. 3 days no paper. no one at corporate cares about their customers. called customer service, thurs. delivery agency is a sham, manager should be fired. this is a ongoing problem. either you are in business or you are not. if you don"t care everyone can start canceling. thanks for nothing.
