IT HAS COME TO MY ATTENTION THROUGH MILITARY.COM, THAT THE CURRENT RETIREMENT PLAN FOR THE MILITARY IS BEING "HASHED OVER" BY CIVILIAN COMMITTIES. PLEASE KEEP ME INFORMED ON THIS MATTER WHEN YOU ARE CONFRONTED WITH THIS. AS YOU CAN GUESS, I AM A RETIRED MILITARY

I KNOW YOU HAVE ALWAYS SUPPORTED THE MILITARY IN THE PAST. THANK YOU FOR THAT, AND PLEASE CONTINUE TO BE OUR ADVOCATE.

Senator Hoven was helpful in informing N.D. that Minot's Oak Park was competing for Cokes' Favorite park award.
I would like that kind of help to also help Minot get a concert from Alan Jackson. The whole community is needing support and mental health since they have been under a great deal of stress. http://eventful.com/performers/alan-jackson-/P0-001-000002983-7/competitions?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=competition&utm_campaign=share_tool_alanjackson_dc

8/4/2011 Contact Senator John Hoeven - Say I have something to say.. I see where there
Say I have something to say.. I see where there are some jobs where you have to have a credit check done. If it comes back where you owe money then WHAM you get let go. Since when does a flippin credit check manage personality. I just hate it when you work two or three jobs trying to pay bills and then they say OH we have to let you go your credit is lousy and you might rip us off. My daughter worked for a state enity and all of a sudden they decided that OH we have to do a credit check. Guess what.. She was let go. She had some medical bills and got behind. I hope that since our state represenatives some that don't have a perfect credit will help. Otherwise maybe it is time for a REAL change in leadership. I hope they help and not just ignore the situation like past Rep. have.

Thank You.

7/22/2011 Contact Senator John Hoeven - As a retire person on a fixed income I have to
As a retire person on a fixed income I have to watch my spending very close. Teachers do not make alot of money. The senate votes themselve a raise, Medicare insurance rates are going up ( I am told double by 2014)More and more people are taken care of by the government. Welfare is so good many people do not even look for work, when there are jobs. Greed is taking over the country. Look back in history, when the Greeks and the Romans had more people on the dole (welfare) they collapsed as power. We allow illegals into this country, many get freed medicare pay ,no taxes, and disrespect the people of America. This country was founded on Christian principles and a majority elect the politcal people. Why can a few minority stop the use of God, Prayer or Jesus whether in Military burialsand being sworen in court. Prices keep going up, Social Security gets no Cost of Living increas. Just how are we suppose to survive. At the age of 67 I am forced to take another job.

I do not have any problem with a tax increase on the "super" rich. Studies have shown they so not create jobs with their tax saving as much as they just bank it. Recognizing that this would only be a token amount of revenue; none the less it would help the democrats save face and move this budget crises towards a solution.
