Senator Kirk,

It seems as though there are those who are determined to give, sell, or whatever they can do to force the United States to live and die by whatever the United Nations wishes.

For example, I understand that the UN Arms Trade Treaty will be presented for ratification in the United States Senate soon. The United States is a sovereign nation and has its own 2nd Amendment to protect us. I do not feel that having the United Nations and/or any of its anti-American dictators tell us who can and who cannot own a weapon protects the welfare of the citizens, which you have sworn to defend.

It is my prayer that you will fillibuster this treaty and join with other like minded Patriots to do all you can to stop ratification of this treaty.

Your actions will, in my opinion, be the beginning of a return to the United States under the Constitution or the beginning of the give-away of my Country. My family and my husband's family were instrumental in the foundation of the United States from the settling of Jamestown, to the holding off the British in South Carolina which provided General Washington time to regroup and win the war. Our families have fought for our nation in the Revolution War, Civil War (both sides), World Wars I and II, Korean War, and participated in the latest conflict in Iraq.

Please remain true to your oath to defend the United States by standing up to President Barack Obama, Hiliary Clinton, and the UN! Do not let your and my Country Down!

Sincerely,
Donna Fitzpatrick

IN GOD I HAVE PUT MY TRUST

SNOPES NO MORE!

Many of the emails that I have sent or forwarded that had any anti Obama in it were negated by Snopes. I thought that was odd. Check this out.

Shades of Krystalnacht

Snopes, Soros and the Supreme Court's Kagan. We-l-l-l-l now, I guess the time has come to check out Snopes! Ya' don't suppose it might not be a good time to take a second look at some of the stuff that got kicked in the ditch by Snopes, do ya'?

We've known that it was owned by a lefty couple but hadn't known it to be financed by Soros!

Snopes is heavily financed by George Soros, a big time supporter of Obama and many other left wing organizations! In our Search for the truth department, we find what I have suspected on many occasions.

I went to Snopes to check something about the dockets of the new Supreme Court Justice. Elena Kagan, who Obama appointed, and Snopes said the email was false and there were no such dockets.
So I Googled the Supreme Court, typed in Obama-Kagan, and guess what?

Yep, you got it; Snopes Lied! Everyone of those dockets are there.

So Here is what I wrote to Snopes:

Referencing the article about Elana Kagan and Barak Obama dockets:

The information you have posted stating that there were no such cases as claimed and the examples you gave are blatantly false.

I went directly to the Supreme Courts website, typed in Obama Kagan and immediately came up with all of the dockets that the article made reference to.

I have long suspected that you really slant things but this was really shocking.

Thank You. I hope you will be much more truthful in the future, but I doubt it.

That being said, Ill bet you didn't know this.

Kagan was representing Obama in all the petitions to prove his citizenship. Now she may help rule on them.

Folks, this is really ugly. Chicago Politics at its best and the beat goes on and on and on.

Once again the US Senate sold us out!

Now we know why Obama nominated Elana Kagan for the Supreme Court. Pull up the Supreme Courts website, go to the docket and search for Obama.

She was the Solicitor General for all the suits against him filed with the Supreme Court to show proof of natural born citizenship. He owed her big time. All of the requests were denied of course.

They were never heard.

It just keeps getting deeper and deeper, doesn't it?
The American people mean nothing any longer. It's all about payback time for those who compromised themselves to elect someone who really has no true right to even be there.

Here are some websites of the Supreme Court Docket:

You can look up some of these hearings and guess what? Elana Kagan is the attorney representing Obama!

Thank you for not supporting the Payroll tax holiday, and I hope you continue to vote against it. It seems like a bad deal for seniors. We get no benefit, and it puts our social security at risk.

In todays paper I read that the super committee wants to change the formula to reduce Social Security increases. This makes me very angry. Why don't you introduce a bill to change the formula for the annual raises of congress. I have paid into Social Security for over 50 years. It was not my choice because I was forced to pay into it. It is not a entitlement. It is owed me!!! I crossed party lines to vote for you. You need to think very hard of who is providing your paycheck. You have let me down with your choices. All I see is another politician who's interest is who can line your pockets the most.

10/30/2011 Contact Senator Mark Kirk - Senator Kirk,I am very disappointed with your
Senator Kirk,
I am very disappointed with your response and your actions at this point. I really thought you might be a reasonable choice, a Senator that would look past party ideology and evaluate proposals with an empirical and reasoned approach. Clearly, I was wrong.
Your response indicating "pro-growth" (read "corporate hand-out") tax laws, reducing the "regulatory burden on businesses" (read "back to Bush," and, incidentally, an idea rebuked recently as a factor by Moodys), cutting state and federal spending (effective LONG-TERM, but worthless RIGHT NOW), and revising pension and social safety-net obligations (read attack the middle class and poor) ..... that response is nothing more than repeating very old and very ineffective positions.
I never thought Mark Kirk could not think for himself, think outside party ideology, think about what's best for most Americans.
Very disappointing.
You allude to the "failed stimulus" - have you no regard for the empirical analysis done by the CBO? Are the talking points of Hanity, O'Reilly, et al, so ingrained in your thinking that you actually believe that the tax cuts afforded by that act and the thousands of jobs that were saved were meaningless?
Very disappointing.
Your analysis of the American Jobs act totally ignores the benefits (to both individuals and the country) of putting hundreds of thousands of Americans back to work, thus reviving the retail sector and improving the "bottom line" of supporting the treasury through increased tax receipts, not to mention the psychological and sociological positive effects of seeing the economy improve as a result. You also incorrectly assert that passing the President's American Jobs Act would result in increased borrowing from China. Did you not understand the bill? A ridiculously small surtax on the ultra-wealthy would have paid for those provisions - and I believe you know that. Why misrepresent the facts?
Your plan has many ideas that may eventually create an improved economy - I'll give you that - but is unlikely to improve the current situation in a timely fashion. Perhaps that is your ultimate (and unstated) goal - to improve the economy later ... after the next election. I hope my analysis here is wrong, ascribing an insidious thought process that ignores the plight of so many Americans now for what you hope to be a political victory.
THAT would be VERY disappointing - and, dare I say, unpatriotic.
As an independent voter, I regret my vote last election. We were looking for a reasoned and thoughtful pol that would not succumb to the destructive extremism exhibited by the "tea party" crowd. That philosophical bent is currently ruining constructive discourse throughout our political system - and is
a serious threat to the future of the nation.
Perhaps your canned response to those who write to you works most of the time to placate less-engaged voters. This voter was not impressed, and this letter will be forwarded to as many personal contacts and public publications as possible.
I urge you to re-evaluate your positions and think independently of the party line. I also urge you to revise the trivial letter sent to me and other voters to be more accurate and less condescending.

Dear Senator,
I want you to vote to freeze nukes, making substantial cuts to the nuclear arsenal. We could cut 50 billion/year and use that money for social programs, so needed for those who have lost jobs. We do not need 5000 nuclear warheads. We have 12 Trident subs out in the sea at all times with 2 nuclear warheads each. So we are already well protected. Please think of those in need of social services, not just our defense which has dulicated types of protection. Martha Cray
