I am very disappointed with your APPROVAL vote of the compromise bill.
It goes against everything you said you believed in and stood for.
Who bought you off and how much did it take? I didn't think you needed money or power, you already have both.

I am sick and tired of you politicians failing to get agreements and solve some of our Country's problems. I am retired and sick and tired of seeing my investments decreeasing every day because you politicians can't agree what is best for our Country. You act like little kids,in my opinion, you hate one another, and it is "high time" an agreement is reached by you people who control the fate of this on peroblems facing us. Cut down on the rhetoric, get down bto business and get something done before you break the monetary values in this Country.

I cannot believe that the Senate and House are unable to end this political stalemate. How can you ask someone to give their life in a foreign country and not be paid? How can you let the elderly and disabled go without medicine and food? How can you ask people who are fighting to keep their homes to spend more each month on their mortgage? I would be ashamed to admit that I am a Senator or Representative at this time. Take the weekend off and laugh at the people that you swore to protect, since all of this is a total joke and should never have gone this far.

I hear nothing is settled yet, therefore I am sending this message. I think if we can not make our payments next week, the first checks that should not go out are for the Senators and Congressmen. You are not working to pass the bill to raise the debt ceiling, so why should you get paid. After that it should be the checks for the federal employess that work for you. The Social Security checks to the illegals should also be stopped. They are illegal and should not be recieving them anyway. Our government needs to make sure the veterans, soldiers and the retires do not need to worry about losing their income. GET THIS BILL SIGNED. SPEAK FOR YOURSELF NOT FOR THE PARTY.
THE COUNTRY DEPENDS ON YOU TO GET THE JOB DONE. BOTH PARTIES NEED TO BE PROUD OF OUR COUNTRY AND WHAT IT STANDS FOR, NOT WORRY ABOUT THE POWER GRAB THAT YOU PEOPLE ARE ON.

If the republican party is going to continue to play this game against Obama then I think it's time to start recalling you. The majority of the people are NOT rich. The majority of the people in the us are slipping below the middle class. If you don't work for the majority of the PEOPLE then it's time that you leave.

Quit playing politics at the expense of the majority of the people! Get the budget settled by taxing EVERYONE equally. No loopholes for the wealthy. Just because you money comes from the rich doesn't mean that you do not have a responsibility to acknowledge the existence of the majority of the people that you represent. Get this budget thing finished and do your job! NO finger pointing at the other side. GET IT DONE!

Exxon posted profits of $10,700,000,000 (10.7 billion dollars) for the past quarter. Republicans insist that they still need my tax dollars to supplement them. What is wrong with this picture?
Seniors may need to skip a meal (or more) to make ends meet. Young mothers may not have enough food for their children. Free health clinics will lose funding...but, we will all be able to rest easy...the oil companies will still be around to continue to gouge the people and generate billions of dollars in profits again next quarter.
Shame!
The Federal Government is losing about $200,000,000 per week in tax revenue simply because the Congress would rather destroy unions (labor) than authorize the FAA. (Yes...that was $200 million per week)
Shame!
Stop insisting that millionaires, billionaires, and corporations cannot possibly be asked to contribute anything at all to our financial deficit because they could not afford it. Republicans continue to insist that the workers, elderly, and poor should bear the entire burden. I'm disgusted with the Republican party and the political rhetoric. Working people are smarter than you think and we see through this ruse.
Increase the debt limit now and stop this assault on workers. Stop the tenacious elitist protection of the wealthy at the expense of the good, hard-working people of this country.
As a Wisconsinite, you are not currently representing my interests. Working people are giving and giving...it's time for the wealthy and corporations to give a little too. Stop this insanity!

Listen to the people. Look at what the majority of Americans want as shown in the polls. You were sent to Washington to represent all of the people, not just the small amount of people in the Tea Party. Some of these tea partiers would benefit from a course in American government and American history. Representing all of the people takes compromise. A tiny minority of people should not be holding the whole country hostage to get their way...their way or the highway. Also, the debt ceiling and the budget should be separate processes and the loopholes for the wealthy should be closed. They should be happy to show their patriotism and love of country by paying their fair share and helping the country that has given them so much.

Sen: Johnson

I think it is time for everyone in Washington to stop acting like spoiled 3 year olds. It is time to settle the debt debate. You are acting more like brats then
public officials. It is time to work together and get job done. It is time for you to step up to the plate and quit trying to ruin the country. Shame on you. Republicans and Democrats alike. Quit the power grab antics.
