3/19/2017 Bought an Electrolux (Frigidaire) oven was
Bought an Electrolux (Frigidaire) oven was delivered broken. It had convection fan and temperature control issues. There have been five repairman unsuccessful attempts to fix in three months. Electrolux told me they are aware of the malfunction and are working on a solution at their factory. THEY WILL NOT REPLACE FAULTY OVEN! I have taken out a summons against Home Depot for knowingly selling a factory defective oven. All of our kitchen appliances are Frigidaire professional series. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER TO DEAL WITH. I MADE A VIDEO TO SHOW MY LOUSY PURCHASE LOOK FOR IT ON U-TUBE. NOW STUCK WITH A BRAND NEW UNWORKING OVEN. FEEL RIPED OFF. Buyers beware!!!!

11/17/2015 Electrolux - I received an e mail showing that I had made final payment on 3 year warranty coverage
I received an e mail showing that I had made final payment on 3 year warranty coverage dated 9/13/14. I called to ask for service on drop in oven on 11/14/15 and they said was an error in contract. Called back on 11/16 and was told that a payment was not received and coverage was cancelled. According to warranty contract if Electorolux cancelled they would return payments. They said it would take 3 to 5 days to check and the first person told me she could not call me back when it was checked out. Electrolux never notified me that contract was cancelled nor was a refund sent. Looks like poor records keeping on their end. This is not good PR if they want you to keep using Frigidaire products

Stay away from Electrolux.... The WORST customer service in the world. They hide all of their phone numbers so you can't reach management. The staff members don't return calls, promise the world to get you off the phone and NEVER follow up. RUN.....

5/26/2015 Electrolux - Terrible customer service,first representative
Terrible customer service,first representative told me dehumidifier would be replaced under warranty,she was to transfer my call to someone else next they were having technical difficulties call was dropped. Called again went through system again told me it would be replaced and she would stay with me till I reached proper department for replacement call again dropped .called back went whole system and was told I didn't have a warranty read warranty from use and care to her said she had to talk to supervisor,suggested to let me speak to supervisor,she told me I really had no reason to speak to anyone and dropped my call again over an hour on phone with no results I guess two out of three doesn't really count

We have had our double wall oven, Electrolux brand for 3.5 years now. I gave it one star for looks; otherwise I hate this thing and regret ever buying it. On the bottom oven door, the inner glass shattered while making Christmas cookies; found out Electrolux corp won't cover it cuz it's over one year old. It's gonna cost over 5 hundred dollars to get the whole door replaced. Our NSI extended warranty doesn't cover this either, only the inner glass( cuz' " that's the only one effected by the heat") Bull !! Also the shelves in the ovens aren't in the right areas for burn free baking. All in all this oven stinks to put it nicely. Don't waste your money !!

7/3/2014 Electrolux should have stuck to making vacuum
Electrolux should have stuck to making vacuum cleaners instead of expanding to other products such as ranges. My Electrolux range for the lack of a better word SUCKS!!! I i I I had a service man over to fix a E-15 error which is a continual beeping sound emanating from the range. Now the same thing happen on Thursday, July 3 and will not be able to get it service for another four days. Four days without a range to bake with is unacceptable. I will never buy another product with Electrolux label on it.

This is regarding Frigidaire washer model # Model Number = FAFW3577KW1
Purchase Date = 3/9/2011

Reliability seems to be an issue with this machine. I got it and the corresponding dryer because it was the only set the local store had that would fit in my small 1970s laundry closet. I can only go to 29 and 3/4 inches deep. The installers had difficulty getting the set stacked and installed, so of course I hoped it would last for many years without issue. I read the manuals and have taken good care of the machines. And, since it's just me, I've probably only done about 50 loads of wash total. The only issue I had while using it was that sometimes when I use a delicates bag the spin gets out of balance and I have to take the clothes out of the bag in order for the wash to complete (which kind of defeats the purpose of using a delicates bag). Then, to my dismay, about a month ago the washer (while idle) started beeping, and all the lights, including the interior lights, were flashing on and off randomly. The machine looked like it was possessed! I unplugged it and then called the local service agency for my ZIP code on the Electrolux recording, which sent a repair guy out to do an estimate. He said that the machine showed an E91 error code, indicating at least one faulty circuit board, and that the repair cost would be about $500 in parts and labor (at least two-thirds of what I paid for the machine a year and a half ago). Because of the design, the repair requires removing the entire top of the machine even to access the front circuit board (!?!?!), so the labor time/cost is quite high. I asked if this type of failure was unusual, and he said no, these particular machines break down all the time. He actually recommended that I sell the set and get a more reliable set. However, all of the better machines are a few inches deeper, which would mean my closet door wouldn't close. Fortunately, VISA Warranty Manager program will cover the repair although later I contacted Electrolux to let them know of my experience and they offered to cover the parts only.

I bought a Electrolux Washing Machine on 15.12.2011. After followup for 2 months, finally somebody was sent for demonstration. At the time of demonstration it was found that water was flowing out from the lower container because it was broken/crack. Local service center was informed and complaint no. was given to me. I followed up innumerable times and physically went to the service center. They kept telling me that they have sent request for replacement of the broken part, but till date nothing has been done. Several emails have also been sent but they neither have the basic decency to answer or replace the part.This is simply cheating buyers.They packup defective material and they do not give demonstration at the time of purchase , they take their own time to send their men for demonstration and if found defective they simply sit on it because they have been able to sell one of their defective product. This is what Electrolux is.

2/21/2012 Electrolux - I would like to express my opinion of Electralux
I would like to express my opinion of Electralux products. I purchased 4 pieces of Electralux product 2.5 years ago for a new home that I purchased. I purchased a dishwasher, range stove, refrigerator and an over the range microwave oven, I am totally unsatisfied with all four. The dishwasher does not clean the dishes well at all. But I will say it hasn’t fallen apart like the rest of the units. The range has had to have the control panel replaced within the first year and now it is acting up again. The refrigerator had to have the door replaced within a month of owning it, the ice maker malfunctioned and the pins that hold the drawers up have broken off and now the water and ice in the door sticks "ON" every time you use it and you have to stick your hand up inside to turn it off, meanwhile the water/ice goes everywhere. The microwave over the range has a broken vent cover on the front of the unit which is plastic and keeps falling off the unit while you are cooking on the range. I priced the replacement part for it and it is over $150 for a plastic vent cover so needless to say I didn’t purchase it. If I had only purchased one Electrolux appliance I would have written the incidents off as getting a lemon unit. But since I purchased four and have had issues with all four it is definitely an engineering or quality control issue with Electrolux. Thanks
