5/17/2014 Eureka Vacuum - I tried to order a Eureka Enviro Steamer from their website
I tried to order a Eureka Enviro Steamer from the Eureka official site. The website was charging me the shipping even though it was supposed to be free. (It was added in a way that most people wouldn't realize they were being over charged.) Sneaky. So I tried to call the number listed at the bottom of the page for Eureka.......It was an 800 number.....Believe it or not.....It was a Sex Call Number. I think I am done trying to buy a Eureka. Also, In noticed that there was no secure lock on the browser when I was close to putting my credit card number in. It was definitely the Official site! I checked!

I HAVE A SMALL STORY THAT I FELT I NEEDED TO SHARE WITH YOU. I HAD A BISSEL VACUUM AND I TOOK THE FILTER OUT AND WASHED IT BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO KEEP BUYING THEM WELL I PUT IT ON TOP OF MY CAR TO DRY OUT AND LOW AND BEHOLD MY DAUGHTER USED MY CAR TO GO TO THE STORE AND WELL, YOUR RIGHT THE FILTER DISAPPEARED. TRIED TO FIND ANOTHER BUT NOBODY SEEMED TO CARRY THEM SO I HAD TO BUY ANOTHER VACUUM. WELL I ONLY COULD AFFORD A CHEAP VACUUM AND I SAW THIS EURIKA QUICK-UP FOR $27.00 AT WAL-MART AND THOUGHT OK GET THIS AND WHEN WE MOVE WE WILL BUY A BETTER ONE. I GOT IT HOME AND THOUGHT WELL I WILL PROBABLY HAVE TO TAKE IT BACK BECAUSE IT WON'T WORK WELL. WELL IT TURNS OUT THAT DAMN THING WORKED SO WELL AND HAD SO MUCH POWER THAT I THREW OUT MY OTHER VACUUM AND AM VERY PLEASED WITH MY NEW EURIKA. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR MAKING THIS LIGHT WEIGHT YET POWERFUL VACUUM.

I love my Eureka Boss with pet pick up. I just changed the belt and it was soooo simple. As a Elderly women who does the handy look around house. I was so glad that I did not need to use all my strength to get the belt on. The pick up on carpet and floors is great.

This company had beyond upset me, I purchased a vacuum 3 months ago and it has already quit working. When calling customer service to find out my options to get it fixed, I found out I don't have a service rep near by so I was offered a call tag to send the vacuum back and get the bad part replace, which apperently the company knows is faulty. I will be without a vacuum for 6 weeks during the Holidays, I asked if there were other options and was told no. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told no, not just one but twice. I asked the opinion of the customer service rep, he suggested I sweep my carpet. I will never spend another dime on this company!!! Poor customer service and crappy vacuums. If I could find a number for the coorporate office I would be contacting them.

I called customer service and was very pleased. They walked me through the process to clear my vacuum. There was a clog, and I had my filter cup inserted the wrong way. I was very satisfied with the result I received.

2/15/2012 Eureka Vacuum - One of the worse purchases I have made in years.
One of the worse purchases I have made in years. Not only doesn't my vacuum work properly, the customer service is horrible. I can't even get a response now. I have been without my new vacuum since December of 2011 (which I purchased brand new). The part is on back-order....when it will come in, god only knows. I keep getting a new date and when I ask to elevate the issue, they refuse. They state right in their warranty that they can replace the vacuum if defective. They have chose not to.

From a business sense, they make no sense. Not only have they compromised their own reputation with me, they have spent numrous hours on the phone dealing with my inquiries (which now, they don't even give me a valid response). This is costing the company more than simply replacing the vacuum (that was defective) and putting this issue to rest. They have lost my business and the potential business of those who may be influenced by my displeasure.

Mr. O-Loughlin, you're company needs to be fixed. Serious shortcomings here that are not acceptable and a reflection of you as the CEO and leader.

12/9/2011 Eureka Vacuum - I had a cordless Dirt devil for years, adn I used
I had a cordless Dirt devil for years, adn I used it for the "quicker picker uper, in between heavy vacumn cleaning days". When it gave out I couldn't find another one so I bought the Eureka Boss Cordess 3 in 1. Well, let me tell you it was a big mistake from day one. After only about 1 month it gave out. A few days later I was hospitalized and then bed-ridden for almost three months. After I was feeling better I called Eureka office and they told me the nearest service center to my house ........ and to my amazement I discovered ..... it was only about an hour away.

This is where the worst part of my story begins. The service center employees, were both, careless, inconsiderate, and almost to the point of being rude to me. Finally after about 5 months of my vacumn in their shop, with endless number of trips to the center and way too many lies from them to even count .......... I got fed up and demanded they do something. Of course they always tried to pass the buck to the next person to take the blame for such a long wait.

After the five months I got a new Eureka Boss from head office. Apparently the motor in the power nozzle was faulty and could not be repaired but instead it was replaced. Lucky me hey????, or you would think.

Finally .... I got a new vacumn. Not so. Not only did I get a new vacumn but I also got the same problem. The motor in the power nozzle of the second vacumn gave out after about only two months. And once again I was forced (around the middle of July 2011) to bring it back to the same service center in Gander, Nl that I had brought my first broken Eureka to. Poor me, it is now December 9, 2011 and I am still dealing with the same two servicemen I had the misfortune to have had to deal with the first time around.

Here is is ........... almost 5 months later and all I am getting is the same run around I got from them the first time ..... when will it end.

Today, finaly fed up with waiting again, I bought myself another Dirt Devil. Needless to say, I am not a very happy camper with Eureka .......... both with the 2 faulty vacumns I had the bad sense to have, but still worse the total disrespect and disregard for customer service from the two men at the Service center in my area that I have had the misfortune to have to been forced to deal with.

When will it end ??????????
