6/3/2016 Ford Motor Credit - Ford Credit failed to send me a statement 4 months
Ford Credit failed to send me a statement 4 months in a row. They did not tell me why nor would the give my brother an address on where to mail the check when I was on respite. Giving a mailing address is NOT intrusion into any account. They claimed that the post office returned my bill to them which I find it hard to believe as I have been living in the same place for 19 years. Instead of calling me they stopped sending me a bill. As a person with MS, I sometimes have short term memory problems. But if the bill went through for thirteen months why would they stop sending it?? Reading the comments about the other people who had problems with the so called "customer service" people at the office it seems to me that a training course or a mass firing is in order. If Ford Credit MAKES an error, it is not up to the customer to correct it . It is customer service job to fix the error and provide the so called service they are being paid for.

3/11/2016 Ford Motor Credit - Well - where to begin. I filled out the
Well - where to begin. I filled out the application at the dealer, by hand - how quaint --- then they re-typed it all into the computer -- seems like extra work, eh? I got approved and all as expected - then it was a typical car dealer "hurry up and sign everything" event after making us wait forever on the approval. During the signing, I failed to noticed the local dude transposed my LAST name with my MIDDLE name. Actually we did not notice until I got into my online account the first time. So I called and got the "Oh my, you have to get certified copies of your Birth Certificate, license, etc" and whatever else, to prove you are who you are!! LOL - it showed up on my credit report, with the names transposed, but at least it showed up -- I have given up on fixing it -- they really were no help even though I could prove the application was filled out properly -- Anyways onto #2 rant....
So now I want to start making additional principle only payments, to expedite the payoff, and I noticed there is no option online to do that -- there used to be years ago --- the last time I had a FORD credit account -- so I contact online for their "help" -- and am told "oh just make an additional payment, manually - and after it clears, callus, and we will re-apply the extra payment as principle" -- Really? what is this 1982? I will just save off to the side over the next year and when I get to the payoff amount call and get it over with -- I give customer service a "2" and the customer experience with FORD credit a "0" --

I would like to take advantage of the sales discounts being advertised on 2015 ford trucks but due to financial
difficulties in 2008 ford motor credit has a judgement against me.
Please let me know what I need to do to resolve this situation so I can use Ford Credit to purchase a new vehicle.

9/19/2015 Ford Motor Credit - Tried to get help from Ford - They say the can't do anything
We have tried numerous times without avail to get help from Ford. All we get is "sorry, we can't do anything". Well I can. I have posted my thoughts on Facebook and made Tweets about the callous and arrogant treatment we have received with respect to my wrecked car from June 8, 2015. My car is still sitting on the lot at Helfman Ford waiting on a part for over 3 1/2 months. Everyone agrees how bad this is, but will do absolutely nothing to resolve it. In the meantime, my insurance has been maxed out for a rental car and to keep a rental car I now have to pay for it out of my pocket. Progressive who is the insurance company of the person who rear-ended me at a red light has accepted 100% of the liability but won't pay for a rental car or anything else for that matter until the car is repaired. That leaves me in the lurch and I shouldn't be as Ford is the responsible party at this point for not being able to obtain the back ordered part. The part that is back ordered is the left rear quarter panel interior structure. Three and 1/2 months is absolutely unreasonable. I have never experienced this in my entire 64 years. Ford's behavior is totally reprehensible. I have lost all respect for Ford Motor Company.

I have owned several Fords in my lifetime and until now was always satisfied. To add insult to injury I have paid this car off in full and Ford in effect is denying me the right to drive it. I guess it means the more you pay for something doesn't make it worth it.

You probably won't post this and that's fine. I just want the CEO, Mark Fields and the Chairman of the Board, William Ford to read this. You can rest assured that I will not stop here. What Ford is doing unspeakable? And you all make it very difficult to get in touch with anyone of importance.

9/1/2015 Ford Motor Credit if your payment falls on Saturday or Sunday then payment must be on Thursday
Did you know that if your payment date falls on a Saturday or Sunday that you MUST make your payment by 9 PM either through the online access or automated phone payment system on THURSDAY! I made my payment online on August 30th, 2015 which was the due date but did not get my payment credited to my account until Tuesday, September 1. They don't tell you this at all on their website, you must figure it out for yourself.

1/21/2015 Ford Motor Credit - RE: account#51075821. During discussions
RE: account#51075821. During discussions regarding my purchase, I was given a written quote of 3.99% apr for 36 months to finance the vehicle through your company. When the deal was being finalized, the rate had jumped to 4.99%. I did not have the written quote with me at that meeting, but it is now in my possession. Accordingly. I have requested that the Governor's Office for Elder Affairs inquire about this deceptive practice. In the meantime, please set up the unpaid balance on the account for 36 months. The sales manager at Sterling Ford now denies having anything to do with the unexplaned increse in the interest rate, even though the written quote was given to me on their own letterhead and provided to me by their salesman. Can this insignificant amount of money be worth the lies and gimmicks used to cheat customers? May I hear from you on this issue?

11/10/2014 Ford Motor Credit - I have a 2012 Focus that sustained minor body
I have a 2012 Focus that sustained minor body damage (less than $2000). I filed the claim with my Ins. company. When the check came, it had Ford Motor Credit as one of the required endorsers. My wife called Ford Credit at the 1-800 number and inquired as to where to send the check to get it endorsed. The Ford Credit Rep stated she would give her the information then said nothing. After a long long pause, my wife asked her again for the information. The representative then became rude and then dictated the information so fast that my wife was unable to write it down. My wife asked her again politely and requested for her to speak slowly so she could write the information down. She repeated it again in a rude and fast manner. My wife asked the Ford Credit Rep if she could read it back to her. Then the Ford Rep stated, "You heard it correctly" and would not repeat it again. My wife then thanked her. This was important information that we needed to get right. I WILL NEVER USE FORD MOTOR CREDIT AGAIN. Moreover, It would have been unfortunate for that person if this had been a face to face meeting with me and her. Attention FORD, if you don't reel in your people and monitor their actions more closely, you will out of business, wondering what happened.
