7/12/2017 Fox Sports - The All-Star Game coverage format was absolutely
The All-Star Game coverage format was absolutely atrocious! No one in my house could follow the game, due the constant interruptions, by the color-commentary announcer during the game.

The amount of airtime devoted to talking to players on the field, DURING THE GAME, was a terrible idea from the spectator's position! It dominated play-by-play announcing to the point that they failed to follow the play-by-play action. The camera action followed the Interviewee rather than the in-game action, so the viewer could not follow the game! The announcers even interrupted the flow of the game to wander about the field and chat with the players, destroying the concentration of the players, at the expense of the spectators patience.

The game seemed to bore the announcers, and the announcers, in turn, bored and distracted the audience, to the point that the game was unwatchable. What ever happened to Play-By Play? People tune in to a sports broadcast in order to watch a game. The announcing is supposed to aid the viewer in understanding the action taking place, with some color-commentary to provide background flavor. But the color-commentary should never be driving the broadcast coverage, especially if it disrupts the viewers ability to follow the action of the game.

Interviews with sports players are always tedious, repetitious, and non-informative at the best of times. But they should NEVER be conducted during the game action! Whoever ordered or allowed this type of game coverage to proceed, should be directed to never again use this format.

We were unable to follow the game and finally gave up watching it altogether. I am sure we were not the only viewers to do so. Obviously, having viewers driven away from watching an income-producing broadcast, provides nothing of income-value for the advertisers who have paid for the production.

Please quit attempting to be cute. Try to keep in mind that the spectator wants to watch the game, not be distracted by the antics of the color-commentary personnel and an out-of-control broadcast director. Otherwise, Fox Sports will continue to fail in their mission of attracting viewers to their programming.

6/18/2017 Fox Sports - I watched the coverage of the 24 Hours of Lemans
I watched the coverage of the 24 Hours of Lemans coverage and I usually watch the coverage of the 24 Hours of Daytona. I enjoyed the coverage with the following exceptions. The Classification running order needed to be shown separately from time to time along with the overall standings shown here. My wife and I found it very confusing trying to keep up with the separate classes. The night shots were great in car but when the headlights come straight at the viewer the camera should have had better filters.

6/11/2017 Fox Sports - The woman commentator in today's woman's soccer
The woman commentator in today's woman's soccer game, US vs Norway, was terrible. She kept on rambling on and on and not focusing on the current game. She continued stating the obvious. Nobody cares about her opinions. I finally turned off the audio

6/4/2017 Fox Sports - Obviously the commentators on the Mets/Pirates
Obviously the commentators on the Mets/Pirates game are not New Yorkers. They had no idea what punchball is. They speculated on what ball was punched, a baseball? (stupid) a wiffleball?, a softball? (just as stupid as punching a baseball.) It was a Spaldeen Hi Bounce ball made by Spalding. A pink rubber ball which was also used for stickball, smoke and steam. I'm sure every New Yorker and ex-New Yorker who grew up in the 40's and 50's and maybe the 60's was laughing at these guys.

4/20/2017 I am really tired of watching sports on Fox Sports
I am really tired of watching sports on Fox Sports and seeing Shannon Sharpe spewing his hate filled rants about President Trump. If I want to watch politics I will watch Fox News. Please control him to keep his political views to himself ( all of the people on your sports shows are liberals). I stopped watching ESPN for this very reason and I'm very close to not watching Fox Sports! I know many people that have my same view. I like the show other than the political part. Like I said earlier if I want to watch politics I will watch Fox news. If I have to turn the channel when they go on their political rants I will turn the channel and not turn it back. If Shannon wants to be in politics have him get a job on CNN or NBC they fit his style better!

2/27/2017 Fox Sports - NASCAR coverage. I have been a Richard Petty fan
NASCAR coverage. I have been a Richard Petty fan for many decades so I always root for his driver but it's been hard, when that driver isn't winning many races or having a top 10 finish. Yesterday at the Daytona 500, his driver finished 4th and was he interviewed after the race? Hell no, but you sure as hell could interview a 12 place driver. Sponsorship is down and FOX Sports is helping its decline by not giving companies the exposure they are paying millions for to sponsor a team because if a driver is running 25th, 30th, 35th or even 40th, they aren't getting any exposure during the race.............unless it's Danica Patrick. There's a reason there's only 40 teams (even less for some upcoming races) compared to 43 a few years back and that's the lack of sponsors. I find myself watching less and less for a sport I have watched since the 70's. Way to go FOX!
