I won't recommend this service to anyone for a medical alert button. I think they need to educate their employees and hire people that has some medical training instead of just any person off the street. My mother had it and she didn't get any help when she called for it. The operator that answered was rude and hang up or asked personal questions that they should of already knew when she called who she was because she needed emergency help at that moment!

Great Call is a horrible company. I purchased two phones for my 80 year old father and my 60 year old brother. The bill is in my name and I control every thing with the phones. I was assured upon purchasing the phones that I would be contacted for any issues that occurred with the phones. My father has the phone strictly for emergencies and never uses the phone. My brother talks a lot on the phone because he works meals on wheels and drives the church van. My brother went over the minute's on the plan. When I contacted Great Call they said I quote, "we tried to contact you and there was no answer",!!!!. I never received not one phone call from Great Call. The number they contacted was my Dad's. The person that Never, Never, Never, uses the phone!!!! How convenient that I am contacted when and if I don't pay the bill but never contacted when the plan I currently have is in jeopardy of going over the minutes. When I contacted them there was no customer service what so ever given. Great Call should be called "BadCustomerServiceCall". Their rating should be a big fat Zero!!!!!!!! -0... Never been so dissatisfied with a company as I am with them

This is an impossible company to deal with . The product may be OK, but the notifications never worked -- they were late, wrong, or else never sent. Calling doesn't solve the problems -- they promise to return the call in 2-5 days (with a 93 year old mother living alone, that is NOT acceptable. And, they never called back at all. When my mother fell this past week, she was laying in the floor, bleeding and the man on the phone asked her so many questions, she lost her temper and said, "Just connect me to my emergency number and stop asking questions!"

Customer service is a misnomer. They have a script to read and say the same things a dozen times without answering your question, or addressing your problem. Cancelling was the high point of our involvement with this company.

This is a five star Comment because of a delightful service person named Isabella. She was so patient and

listened to my problem, which was not the case with the service person I talked to yesterday. I am surprised

at the negative comments that I have just read. Jitterbug is a wonderful product and if handling customer's

needs give the company a bad reputation something should be done to correct the situation. Maybe

you need more Isabella to man the phones. My Isabella sent me happily on to the right solution.

This company deserves a negative 5 star rating! My mother's device broke and i called customer service and was told a new one would be mailed out immediately. We waited 3 weeks and called again, this time i was told that they needed my POA ( power of attorney) to even speak with me. I faxed this to them the same day. Three weeks later still no device. I called again, was told it would be shipped that day. It's now two weeks later and it has still not arrived. I asked to have a two month credit and was told by a very rude customer service rep (Carla) that they won't do that. THINK TWICE ABOUT USING THIS COMPANY.

My mom almost 99 treated her great call as a cell phone. In her purse etc. There was no way to attach call alert.
I decided this was waste of my money. Canceled except no record. I never updated credit info. Now I found out they have called my mom and threaten collection. 8 calls on answering machine. Do not try.

I just talked to a representative about downloading an app that I could not get. He was extreamely helpful-worked with me through some steps and determined that what I needed was not available on this phone. I have had only good experiences with Great Call.
