If there was a rating less than zero for customer service I would give it. Groupon should not be able to use the phrase "customer service" because it does not exist. Groupon is a poor example of a company.

5/4/2017 Groupon - My order would not submit through the vendor's
My order would not submit through the vendor's site; the vendor's customer service was terrible even over the phone. Groupon will NOT refund my money ($74) and the issue was never resolved. I have never had a bad experience before, but I will never purchase from Groupon again. I feel blessed to experience really great customer service for most of my life's transactions. This was not amount them.

Customer service is the WORST ever. i purchased 2 orders for the Xotic driving expeerience for my grandson's 18th birthday. Groupon took 2 payments of $159/each from PayPal but only sent me ONE confirmation. I can't speak to a live person, they don't answer emails. The orders don't show up in my history. I will NEVER buy anything through Groupon again. - EVER.

I wouldn't even display a customer service option if I operated your company. There is no customer service!!
I first tried to use your online approach to clarify a question I had with something I booked but the agent I finally got through to on your chat line couldn't spell or put a sentence together - I literally could not make out what he was writing. When I tried to ask him to try and explain it to me, he disconnected me.
I have nothing further to say as you already know the quality of your service. I will definitely think twice before making any further purchases with groupon.

I finally found a phone contact for your customer service and spoke with a young lady, she could barely speak English and had great difficulty trying to communicate with her. I truly have given-up on this program.

The customer service department for Groupon is HORRIBLE!!!!! It takes forever to get anywhere with the reps and getting a supervisor on the phone is like pulling teeth. This really makes you not want to use Groupon in the future because if you need to call them to resolve an issue you are out of luck and money!!!!!! Think twice people about purchasing from Groupon because they become very uncooperative once they have taken your money. At least when you shop in the stores you deal with a live person and you get customer service when problems arise.

This is the WORST customer-no-service I have EVER encountered!!!!
Booked a trip for whale watching, which was cancelled by the tour operator.
Am trying to get a refund, no luck so far.
Have dealt with Groupons brainless people by phone and e-mail, but have not encountered
any intelligent life so far. They must graduate their people in STUPIDITY 101!!!

1/27/2017 I made a couple of Groupon purchases a few years
I made a couple of Groupon purchases a few years ago with no problem. After a hiatus I resubscribed last week. Now I receive "discount codes" which the website will not accept. i actually spoke to real person by using
888-664-8882 and she offered to give me today's discount of 10.00 by placing this amount in my "Groupon box".
She told me that I cannot get this amount deducted from my credit card, so I must pay the full price of the deal. So I suppose that I must wait to see if another deal ever tempts me and then hope that I am able to use this credit note, which really fraudulent as I was supposed to receive $$$ off the original purchase. No wonder this
company has grown so large - they are taking interest free loans from their customers and using the cash towards their own ends. I shall cancel this purchase again and block Groupon from my email list. What a ripoff organization they are/ BUYER BEWARE!
