Jenn-Air Model #JFC2290VEM7 -- I am having a problem with food freezing in the fresh air compartment, much like the comment of Keith above. The refrigerator is just over a year old. The problem first appeared early in the life of the appliance but seemed to affect only food on the top shelf. Three weeks out of warranty, it began to affect the entire compartment. The seller, Arizona Wholesale, had provided the product to Shea, the developers of this high end Trilogy community and we chose that model, along with other high end Kitchen-Aide (all Whirlpool products). AZ Wholesale would not offer to do anything about the problem. We bought an extended warranty and a service technician appeared and said he had re-calibrated the system. However the end result was no better, if not worse. A second call resulted in the tech refusing to come out and suggesting that we ask the schedulers to send another firm for a second opinion. The Jenn-Air extended warranty folks said they would consult a supervisor about making us an offer. Two weeks later we have heard nothing.

I do not believe we should have any co-pay on the replacement of this obviously defective appliance. I am sure this is an anomaly. Whirlpool, Jenn-Air and Kitchen-Aide have always had fine reputations. I truly expect them to make this right.

I HAVE A JENNAIR MODEL# JS42PPFXDA AND THE UNIT TEMPERATURE IN THE FRESH FOOD DISPLAY SHOWS -77 DEGREES AND FREEZES EVERYTHING.THE FRESH FOOD THERMISTOR HAS BEEN CHANGED AND IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE.THE FREEZER STAYS PERFECT AT O DEGREES AND THE DISPLAY SHOWS O DEGREES.I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS PROBLEM FOR 2 MONTHS AND NO ONE CAN SEEM TO FIX THE PROBLEM.I WANT A TECHNICAL PERSON FROM JENNAIR TO CALL ME WITH ANSWERS.I DO NOT WANT A SALES PERSON TRYING TO SET UP SERVICE AS WE HAVE ALREADY BEEN THRU THAT.THIS IS A BUILT IN UNIT IN A MILLION DOLLAR PLUS CUSTOM HOME AND SHOULD NOT BE HAVING THESE PROBLEMS.WE HAVE ALREADY HAD TO REPLACE THE HEAT EXCHANGER BECAUSE IT LEAKED OUT THE FREON.I WILL WAIT TO HEAR FROM YOU.CALL ME AT CELL#

I am still angry for the poor performance of the two wall ovens I bought for my new kitchen. I bought them because the ovens of the stoves I bought in the past performed perfectly. The wall ovens do not cook the bottom or the top of anything I prepare. They are good for pele who buy frozen food and warm it in the ovens. I used to make pizzas, focaccias, breads, cakes and cookies I used to sell and for which I received wonderful feed back. With these new wall ovens it is impossible to cook any item that I mention above. Would I advice anyone who asks me about my ovens to buy your product? Nooooooo!
I am starting a new set of cooking classes. My feed back on the jenn-air ovens to my students will be very negative. I had your techs here to check on my ovens and they were unable to answer my questions. I understand what is mechanically wrong with my ovens and hope to get riid of them as soon as I have the money and buy a wolf brand wall ovens. Thy are more open and let me check how their product performs.
I read all the feed back mailing to your company and it is dreadful.

CAUTIONARY TALE: My Jenn-Air stove is not yet 4 years old- 2 adults over age 60 in the household- stovetop grates are disintegrating & oven knobs shrivelled up when baking - Jenn-Air will NOT stand behind this product - says there are NO prior, similar claims- holds the consumer responsible for entire cost of replacements. ? How good can they be when original parts don't last 4 years?

I purchased a new Jenn Air dishwasher and slide-in electric range on June 20, 2012. The range came with instructions for a Whirlpool electric range. When I called customer service to request the correct instructions for my Jenn Air range I was advised by the representative that it would cost me $15.40. I again explained to the rep that I did not get the correct manual and I did not feel I should have to pay for one. She said she would make a note of that on the order. Since I needed the instructions, I paid the $15.40. I think I should be reimbursed this amount.

Jenn air sold their gas grill section to CMS of canada who has since gone out of
business. Nexgrill honors warranty for models 700 and above. I paid 500 for a
Jenn air grill, still under warranty but no one has warranty parts or obligations.
Trying to get Jenn air to do something is futile. Customer service is a downright
joke with obnoxious reps.

Jenn Air DOES NOT CARE about their customers. They will screw with you, they sell you a contract then do not honor it, they want you to pay additional money to fix their product even when you paid for a service contract. No one there will take responsibility for a product that does not work. SERVICE is NOT part of their vocabulary, they DO NOT make QUALITY products, if they did then they would service them. We have tried for 1 month to get them to fix our stove top, 5 service men later, we still do not have a fixed stove top and JennAir REFUSES to do anything about it. All one gets with JennAir is the royal run around, they refuse to let you speak with someone who has authorization to handle a product because they do not care. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS JENNAIR SERVICE

1/24/2012 JennAir - I have a Jenn Air built in single convection oven
I have a Jenn Air built in single convection oven 10 years old that is great EXCEPT that the door has never closed tightly thus causing the oven light to come on constantly. Imagine my surprise when I finally had the problem diagnosed to learn that I need new oven levers and springs which will cost over $125.00 for parts alone. Add in $100.00 service fee and I am a very unhappy consumer. There are only two adults in our home we grill outside almost the entire spring summer so it is not as if the unit was misused. Cam Jenn Air send out a corporate rep and remedy this problem without charge as I am sure they would want to be treated if the roles were reversed.
