I ordered a grey purse online and 4 weeks later a smashed and ripped up box from China arrived with a WHITE purse. I contacted Kate Spade thru email for a return form because I did not order a WHITE purse. After several back and forth emails they suggested I sell the purse to someone else and they would give me a better return. I refused and they won't respond. This is terrible service. I have told all my friends to never buy from Kate Spade!!!!

Awful . They sent the wrong card to my maid of honor - the one asking her to be my maid of honor in my wedding! They sent her a get well card from someone named Leslie! I called the customer service and they didn't care- they offered me 15% off on the same order and express shipping. Like that doesn't help me at all! She's already received my gift w the wrong card. Never buying from them again!

I went to a kate spade outlet in tinton falls and they limited my purchase to 10 items and 2 of each kind. That would have been ok but the girl was very snotty and dismissive and told me "its a global thing. People purchase in bulk and then sell out products on ebay or overseas? What??? Are you kidding me? of course i buy a lot because i have a lot of nieces in the philippines and they love kate spade. Whenever i go visit or send a package, it is full of kate spade stuff! Just to let you know, i dont have time to sell purses. And it is very typical of filipinos like me to shop in bulk because we have big extended families and we are very generous people. Anyways, I went to a kate spade new york store in short hills mall and the girls there particularly nina was very very nice. I cant help but buy a pair of shoes from her. But not after i spent my money on the tory burch store. I hope you teach that girl from tinton falls how to deal with people. She just does not have people skills and seriously you lost a lot of sales today. As in a lot.

3/26/2013 Kate Spade - I bought a purse online and zip did not work well.
I bought a purse online and zip did not work well. I called, sent it back and was told I should get my credit back within a month. It has been more than six weeks and I still have not received any credit back on my card. I called again and they have to trace my return and they issued me a new reference number. I called back in a week and they said they are still processing it and I should get a call from the customer service the next two days. No one called. I called again and I was told it will take another 3-5 business days to process it. I am not sure what is going on. I will NEVER order from them again.

I can't believe that they are in a customer service area in this country.
They cancelled my order because it did not appear to meet their order requirements! I called them to ask the reason but they said i could no longer purchase from their website. It was like a recorder. No reasons, No feelings, No apologies. It will be what overbearing correspondence. While they are popular, it will be good.

I placed an order on Nov 22 2012. I had to call to get the order shipped because they "were making sure that it was my order." I finally received it on 12/3/2012 and it was missing the watch. I called customer service twice today and basically was told that they would have to credit my card and charge it again so I would have another 175.00 on hold out of my account. It was there fault it was not in the box but I am penalized for there error. I am done ordering from Kate Spade!!!! The worst service I have ever received!! I called there corporate office and had to leave a message. Absolutely ridiculous!!!!!!!

A loyal consumer just another to NEVER buy from them again! My Husband purchased a Kate Spade watch for me as a wedding gift 2 months ago and it has stopped working. 2 MONTHS!! So I called customer service to find out if they can repair it or what may be wrong with the watch. They informed me they can’t do anything for me but offer me to return the watch for a GIFT CARD - it was a wedding gift - how do you replace a wedding gift with a gift card?! Or I CAN PAY to send the watch to some random repair facility (who they were very sure to point out is not responsible for lost or stolen watches). The watch has a 2 year warranty on it, this is not my responsibility that watch does not work after 2 months - Kate Spade should take SOLE RESPONSIBILITY for the watch & have it repaired as well as cover any shipping costs for their choice of repair facility. Not to mention the fact that my wedding gift watch could be lost or stolen and I am just out of luck. In a last effort I request to speak to a supervisor as the woman I was dealing with was awful, she tells me the Supervisor will call me back within 24 hours, surprised they couldn’t just transfer me to a Supervisor I asked, are there that many complaints to Kate Spade that there isn’t one available right now? I was shocked for her to say YES! WOW! How in the world can a “designer” have such terrible customer service? People pay good money for your products & we get low quality products with terrible customer service – NEVER AGAIN KATE SPADE!

7/18/2012 Kate Spade - I ordered a photo frame at full price online and
I ordered a photo frame at full price online and it came in with obvious defect. I went to a local store and also called customer service numerous times. Every time I got a different story, 7-day window, no returning window, 90-day window..... some representative promised me to mail a replacement to me but it never happened!!!! I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there was no supervisor available. I asked for direct contact information to file a complaint and was told there was no such info. I think it is only reasonable to get a replacement or store credit or refund for a defective product!!! And now after spending money and time, I am stuck with a piece of junk from a so called designer line. Even Walmart exchanges/refunds you for defective products!!! I will never buy anything from Kate Spade!!!!

they simply cancelled my order because they THOUGHT my credit card was "international", without even checking with me. my credit card is a u.s. card, with a u.s. billing address, with a u.s. shipping address. they then say they cannot re-order because the items had been sold out. they don't even bothered to find the same items from their distributor and retail networks to fulfill the legitimate order which THEY screwed up by THEIR MISTAKE. so lazy, no integrity, no competency --- i am done with kate spade. never again. not worth the anxiety which is never properly attended.
