I agree with all of the above comments. No wonder your paper is failing. Maybe we all need to subscribe to USA Today! Then there will be no delivery problems. Your circulation department is deplorable! Someone needs to be fired!

11/2/2016 KC Star - We have had delivery problems with the carrier
We have had delivery problems with the carrier not throwing the paper on our newly widen driveway for the past month. There is a street light directly across the street so there should be plenty of light to see the pavement. Instead, the paper is thrown in a dirt ditch (muddy if it has rained) or on the grass next to the drive. I would like this resolved before the winter season bring the snow. After calling every morning at 7 AM and answering the SAME questions with an apology from the customer service receiver, this problem as not been corrected. If Supervisors have been alerted or the carrier alerted, it has not produced any results for correction of the problem....I have paid up front 6 months for the paper. Something needs to be changed.

It is Sunday, The paper is not here. I have called 3 times so far this morning. Too many times the paper is wet or not delivered. What the heck is going on? Is it the carrier? If so we need a new one. Get me my flipping paper that I pay for. I don't care about the limited online paper, I want a paper. Social media complaints are now on my list of activities for the Star.

I am paid up thru April 23. I have not received a newspaper for the past week. I have talked to customer service 4 times, and they assure me the problem is their fault, and it has been resolved. However, I STILL have not received my paper for this past week!

4/1/2016 KC Star - The Kansas City Star does not even deserve the one
The Kansas City Star does not even deserve the one star I had to give them. I have not received a paper since March 26th. I am paid through April 16th. I will never again take the paper as the delivery service is poor. I have called on numerous occasions and have been told the problem would be fixed, but that hasn't happened and I would be shocked if it did. I have asked for someone to call me but no one ever does. I guess the people in India or Pakistan, wherever they have outsourced their customer service calls to can only listen to you complain. They have no way of letting the star know they have many dissatisfied customers.

3/21/2016 KC Star - I have not received a paper for 5 days
I have not received a paper for 5 days. I used the automatic system online, sent an email, and put in the time to talk to an actual person. Still, I did not get my paper. Perhaps delivery issues are part of the reason the news paper is having a tough time keeping subscriptions up. I know their (lack of) customer service is what cost them this customer.

3/19/2016 KC Star - Ever since the Star outsourced their customer
Ever since the Star outsourced their customer service operations to India/Pakistan or wherever it is over there, it has been ridiculous. We were out of town all week and called them to have the paper stopped during that time. They guaranteed us this was taken care of, but when we got home today, every newspaper this week was laying there in our driveway, an open invitation to any would-be burglar that there was nobody at home. 4 times in the past six months we have asked service to be stopped over the weekend and have all the papers delivered on a certain date. Not once has this been carried out, even though we were always assured that this would take place. Funny how a liberal paper like the Star complains about Republicans are responsible for all those American jobs being moved overseas, and now the Star is doing the same thing. Unbelievable. When my subscription runs out next month, that's it, I'm done with the Star.

I am so tired of the KC Star and the delivery problems. But I have to say the most irritating issue is calling outside the US speaking to people that can't solve the problem and really can't communicate. Also, what good it the paper the next day, OLD NEWS....So disgusted with them. KC needs another paper.

2/8/2016 KC Star - We have been subscribing to the Kansas City Star for more than 20 years
We have been subscribing to the Kansas City Star for more than 20 years, and in the last 6 months have had more delivery problems than in the previous several years. With all the problems that newspapers are having keeping subscribers, it begs the question as to why long-standing customers aren't receiving better customer service. We have never even been able to speak with a live person, nor have our previous emails been answered. Today when I called, there wasn't an option to get today's paper today. Please explain!

I tried to start taking the KCStar and for 3 days I have had no paper. I called customer service and they promise a paper and still no paper. You try to call again and they are closed.
