11/24/2014 Kobo now has a "People & Places Trivia Contest"
Kobo now has a "People & Places Trivia Contest" going on. Enter your information to register, click "Continue," and nothing happens. Nothing at all. Re-checked everything (there was no indication on the page that I'd missed entering any information, but re-entered it all again, just in case) -- and nothing. Absolutely no help button, contact information, or anything. Went to Kobo's own site to contact them through there, and -- you guessed it -- no basic contact information there. Could report a problem with a Kobo e-reader, so tried that number, and after holding for several minutes with the computerized system (hadn't reached a human being at all), I was transferred to another extension -- which immediately cut me off. Customer service? Well, my trivia answer for worst customer service contact would be Kobo.

11/10/2014 Kobo - The lack of providing phone number for the US is
The lack of providing phone number for the US is absolutely poor business conduct. Expecting that the general public is going to speak "Kobo" shows a lack of understanding your customer base. You could never a get ISO Quality rating with a customer service process like the one you have. Wise up, publish a "Customer Service" phone line valid in the US, if you want continued growth, u need to improve your understanding of your customers. Why Sony sold out to you will not be understood and is a bad reflection on Sony that they thought Kobo was going
to enhance their readers.

8/14/2014 Kobo - Apparently your people do not realize that older
Apparently your people do not realize that older people have some problems hearing and we normally warn people we call that such is the case, your people who answer the phone ramble on and I could not understand anything she said. I have been trying to contact Kobo because I have a gift card that your system says is not valid yet the person who purchased it got a card "KOBO" , I scraped off the back as instructed but your system refused it and I cannot find a way to reach you to have it resolved. One thing is definate I will tell my family to stop purchasing these cards, this is the 3rd time this has happened.

8/6/2014 Kobo customer service is totally useless. I
Kobo customer service is totally useless. I contacted them FOUR times at least and all I get back is automated acknowledgements. It might be that slightly complicated queries such as mine require a brain cell or two which they don't seem to have. They then have the cheek to ask for a survey to be completed. I gave the lowest rating possible for everything and even that didn't prompt a response. I would love to be a fly on the wall in their customer service office - I think the computer generates all responses and that there are no REAL people there at all. I really don't rate this company at all - how are they still in business when they treat their customers so badly?

7/13/2014 Kobo - there is no number to reach you at, yet the site
there is no number to reach you at, yet the site states emails will be answered in 48-60 hours. this makes no sense, if that time frame is needed means your product is flawed and there's always a problem. i submitted an inquiry at 4:00 pm today and it's 12:05am, your response was i would receive a call within 20 mins. The tablet you replaced has the same problem and i can't reach anyone. Please attend to this in a timely manner.
