we were late a few days on our commercial card bill and were denied a small purchase because of being late. I know it was our fault.however it was the first time.i have a consumer & a commercial acct.we have purchased a/c units for our business and also tile and many other large purchases,and for them to deny a small purchase because of a short delay in payment is really unfair. I intend to pay my bal. off and go back to home depot.

Tried to get to a customer service rep and it was painful, prompt after prompt and nothing. I went on line got another number that just says press O after every prompt, well that not fun either, O O O O O O on and on finally one said customer service. I found out it depends on what number you call. I originally called 800 444 1408 and this was a horrible number to call. I then found another number and called 866 232 7443 and was able to bypass the automated system and get a live person by the name of John who was very friendly and helpful.

I made a payment by phone but it still has not shown on my account. I have used other phone pay systems with no trouble but this one is TERRIBLE. I will have to drive to the store to make a payment. Lowe's is bad. I totally agree.

2/8/2013 Lowes Credit - I will NEVER deal with this credit company ever
I will NEVER deal with this credit company ever again. I called this so-called customer service number and received NO HELP AT ALL. They kept giving me options I didnot need. I asked for a representative and never got one. I was then told that if I wanted to speak to one that they were going to CHARGE ME ten dollars to do so. I was calling to get a payoff on my account. My goal was to TALK to a HUMAN BEING. The statement says customer service. It should say AUTOMATED cuatomer service.

Lowes is a HORRIBLE company to deal with. We are in process of getting windows installed. Once this is finished we want nothing more to do with them!!! They have a monopoly on things here just like the Walmart does. But I will drive to a bigger city if necessary to find another place to purchase needed items for remodeling before I will do business with Lowes again!!!

Wow I had a completely pleasant conversation, I was prepared for the worst when I read the other reviews on this site.
Background - I missed my first payment due to not receiving my first statement in time. They waived the late fee and reported the reversal to the credit agency. This honestly was probably in my top 10 of least painful customer service calls in my life (Im 31).
Not that I even care where the Customer service rep is located, but it is of note that the person I spoke to was definitely American.
Also of note, I did not have my card number, and I was able to access the system easily via alternative authorization.

I too am late paying a bill because they neither mailed or e-mailed one to me. I monitor my credit rating and am waiting for the 'hit' that others experienced. I misplaced my card but their auto phone system found my account and let me pay through that. Thank goodness it worked since they wanted to charge me $10.oo to talk to a live person!

Now if I can't find my card, how can I go online to check what type of billing I am supposed to receive? I guess I have to go to a store to check that one out. At least there is no charge for that (yet).
