3/5/2016 My brand new Luminox (model 1924) changes the day
My brand new Luminox (model 1924) changes the day to German (I think) at midnight but it is the day before. It changes to English day around 4 am. Did I do something wrong in setting it or is that that nature of the watch? If so, I will never purchase another Luminox again. It should change both date and day at midnight. We live in America. I sent my special SR-71 blackbird watch to the Luminox repair co on January 26 and to date have not received a word from them regarding the repair for this $900 watch. The main issue was replacing the band but no, not even an acknowledgment or an estimate for the work. One would think three months would be enough for such a replacement but nothing but silence. By the way the "25 year luminescence" was almost gone in less than one year! This feature is aparently B. S. What should I do...try to sue them? Send me the watch back unrepaired and I would be happy. Warn your friends not to buy this product.

My Luminox watch ran perfect for 9 months. It has started to lose time 3-4 minutes per day. I called today for service and was told that it would take 3 to four weeks for estimate or repair. I do have a PayPay receipt. I am requested to send it but was told that the authorized repairer must verify that I purchased it from an authorized seller. This is ridiculous for what was supposed to be a superior watch. Should have bought another brand. The 1-800-858-5215 warranty service number listed in the warranty manual is bogus- scam telemarketer - answers. This watch replaced 2 previous Swiss Army watches that lasted 17 years in total. Thought this was a better made watch. Evidently I made a mistake. Based on my experience I would not recommend this brand. Another buyer be ware product.

my husband and I both have watches. his needs servicing and I need a new watch band. we have tried everything to contact someone to obtain customers service assistance. We have found this company's website void of any helpful information which appears to be there goal. It provides no information to assist customers. the catalog does not down load. I sent a customers service request, no response. we searched for a service center and found one in rhode island but provide no way to contact them to submit for repair. I even contacted the company by phone I think. The message did not give a business or company name only an individual name, and only allowed you to leave a message. Of course no response was received. In my opinion this company should not be doing business in the united states. I intend to contact my state's consumer protection agency, and the federal consumer protection dept. it does not deserve any stars but that is not an option.

I have a fifteen year old "Navy Seal" and all the "constant glow" markers have dried up. I have attempted to contact them through their web site with no luck. I am extremely disappointed in that I spent a great deal of money for this watch! I will continue to use my "G Shocks", they have never let me down yet!

1/8/2014 Luminox Colormark battery died after 15 months
Jan 8th 2014: I'm from the UK and bought a Colormark in Aug 2011.
The battery died in July 2012. I sent it to the only authorised UK repair agent Locker, Thornton & Hull who charged £30. I also paid £7 to post it to them Special Delivery.

Oct 2013 the battery died! Really? After just 15 months. Locker, Thornton & Hull only guaranteed the battery for 12 months, so I was expected to pay £37 again for a new battery.

I asked them the typical life expectancy for this battery in a Color mark - they told me approx 18-24 months. I find that bizarre based on the basic movement of the watch.

I told them not to bother replacing the battery. I didn't fancy spending £37 every 15 months on a £200 watch.

I tried to contact Luminox via their website 'Contact Us' section and through Facebook but without any reply.

These watches look good, but that's about it!

10/9/2013 Luminox - I have a one year old watch that has stopped
I have a one year old watch that has stopped working. I took it to my local jewler and they said "Its not worth fixing" I e-mailed Lumi nox and have gotten no response. I called their # and was told to send the watch to them and they would give a price to fix it. After two separate jewlers told it wasn't worth fixing. I don't think so.
So this is customer service?

Great watch but beware Luminox after care service shocking.
My son's birthday gift did not last long. The pin that attaches the band to the watch face was not stable so my son nearly lost his watch. The after care service from Luminox was shocking I will never recommend this brand to anyone. What happened to customer service these watches are not cheap I expected a better experience.

This company is terrible! Lost my watch while kneeboarding, guessing it was due to the cheap strap. I called this number and they proceeded to tell me that I could get a 40% discount on my next watch without asking for a receipt... I gave them my card info, then the call dropped, without them telling me the expected delivery date or anything. I called back roughly 5 minutes later and told them to cancel the order due to the fact that the call dropped and I started reading the reviews on this website. They told me everything was fine and that they would cancel the order. Well.... Roughly 10 days went by. I was checking my checking account one day and noticed that they had taken the money out anyways!! I called the company, they told me that they would fix it and return my money in the next few days. Well finally after 20 days, and around 30 phone calls, the money has finally been put back in my account. This company is terrible and I will start telling every company that sells these watches that. The company also has blocked my number because everytime I call now the phone just rings and rings, it never goes to the women talking and telling you what numbers to press to get in touch with who. Suunto is a way better watch company! I have had mine for roughly 4 years and it has never let me down. They are also $200 cheaper than a Luminox, atleast mine was.

I have a watch that I sent in for repair to the service center in Rhode Island. They sent it back telling me there are no parts to fix it and they can't repair it either way. Sure they sent the $10 check back....really?? Thanks for that! But "the watch of the SEALs" can't be fixed. Or why did it fail in the first place. Maybe the SEALs use one for each deployment so they don't have to worry about equipment time-piece failure when on duty! I will never purchase a Lumi Nox watch again!! Back to the old Timex that has worked, in harsh conditions, over 12 years! Not happy, not impressed!!

I just had the strap on my Navy Seal break, I wonder how many the Seals have lost over the years due to this, and have repeatedly attempted to contact the US service center to no avail. When I first wrote the US distributor, all I got in response was a short e-mail and instructions to contact them. Not even an apology for the strap breaking. I even readily acknowledged in my e-mail that I knew it was not a warranty item but the least I think I can expect is some sympathy for their defective product. Now that I think about it, the watch did have working issues a few years ago when I first bought it but they did repair it under the warranty in all fairness to Luminox.

However, having no response in a week to an inquiry to purchase a replacement strap all I can conclude is that at least from the US perspective, Luminox's customer service is not. Rather it is customer No Serve. From reading other comments, I see my experience is fairly typical.

I'm a watch hound and have many more than I care to think about. My Luminox got worn maybe once a month, if lucky, so it was not subjected to a lot of wear and tear. Far from it.

I came here looking for the home office address and found it. My next step is to write corporate and express my displeasure with their US distributor and lodge a complaint about the US Customer Service Center. Who knows? Maybe snail mail will get a response.

All I can say is no more Luminox for me. Unfortunate as I did like their products, but not the first time I will have written off a midsized brand due to customer service and quality issues.

TK, you need a better watch company to have an endorsement arrangement with.
