Your web site sucks. I tried filling out the customer help form (once I found it, not easily) and then I couldn't send it because it wanted "a valid E-mail address". Well, folks, the E-mail address I put on the form is the one I've had for 20 years and it works just fine, thank you very much.

In fact, if anyone cares enough to respond to this, the address is:

2/17/2014 This is the kind of low behavior I expect from Comcast, not the New York Times.
Called to cancel print edition. Spent a long time on hold, no one ever picked up. Piano sonatas. Pressing 500 sent me direct to an operator, but she then sent me back into the sonata queue. This is the kind of low behavior I expect from Comcast, not the New York Times.

The New York Times arbitrarily took it upon themselves to renew a ONE YEAR subscription that I bought for my husband a year ago. I ordered one year, no more, no less. $409.90 taken out of my bank account. My rent check bounced because of it! And yes, of course, I called - was told by Myrna, a so-called supervisor, that she would put a rush on my refund. Lovely, considering refunds normally take between 7 to 10 days. It's been well over 10 days now and do I have my refund? NO!!! I can't even tell you how angry I am about this whole thing. I was flat out robbed. And I have no recourse, at least not that I know of. I need help with this! And that kind of extortion has to be stopped!!!

Why is it that I frequently get my Thursday's Times on a following Monday when it is mailed to Cadiz, Ohio, from nearby Canton, Ohio????? Could this be the fault of either or of both of the Times and the Post Office?????

Attention Ray Glier:
It is interesting to see March Madness bring out the good and bad in basketball.
For at least a decade I have been looking for an ear - could that be you?
There is a basic inconsistency between education and basketball - the rules in fouling could not be supported by education because it teaches that you can break the rules and about half the time not pay a penalty. Why are there so many fights in basketball? There should be a hard and fast rule in basketball - you foul and the other team gets the ball in all cases. In certain cases the team fouled can get foul shot(s). A few years back there was a game involving Wake Forrest in which there were over 60 fouls - rediculus!
In life if you break the rules you must get penalized - it should not be an opportunity to gain.
Hope to hear back from you.
Thanks,
Bob Perry
