8/13/2014 Newsweek - Clinical depression is no fallacy or phantom. It
Clinical depression is no fallacy or phantom. It is very, very real and can easily be very deadly. It is no shame. Anyone never entrapped in this blackest darkness or never involved in watching helplessly while a loved one falls into the abyss, will ever know how sickeningly solitary the journey can be. Tragically, I can see why Robin Williams endured this pain in virtual silence and, like many of us suffering from depression, sought to create laughter and happiness around him while he trudged on in a solitary journey, dying a little each day, until the last bit of fight was gone and all he felt he had left was a growing, resolute solitary commitment to end the suffering and pain, any way possible and immediately. I have felt as he did, very alone, indescribably sad, hopeless and surrounded by people who had no clue. The pain never ended, it only got worse. Intense therapy and appropriate medication can help dramatically. As one who’s been there, please, do not stonewall. Be honest. Be blunt. Talk. Talk. Talk.

Please cancel my supbsciption for Newsweek. You went out of business and never credited my account the last time. Why should I pay you again. Therefore, please do not take any money out of my account in August 2014. I do not want NEWSWEEK. Thank you, for your understanding.

5/15/2014 I have recently resubscribed to Newsweek.
I have recently resubscribed to Newsweek. I have tried to get set up to receive it on my I Pad. I cannot do so. I have tried to get assistance with no success. I did receive an e-mail that said my password to go to my account was and go to a webpage that was noted on the e-mail. I did that and all it did was tell me subscription prices and how to become a new subscriber. I am a subscriber and I need help in getting to read the damn Newsweek magazine. I need to talk with someone for help. I have called customer support #1-800-631-1040 and it directed me [email protected] This is my very worst experience trying to get customer service help so I can obtain the product that I have purchased. Can I please get some help or will you just go ahead and cancel my paid subscription. You will find I have been a subscriber for many years in the past. Since I cannot get the magazine I would like for you to refund my money and cancel my subscription.

I would like to speak to a live person re my subscription to Newsweek which is paid up to May 31, 2015. I prefer the printed version and would like to have my subscription transferred from the digital to the printed. If that is not possible, then I would like to have a refund for the remaining time.

Thank you. Evelyn

3/10/2014 Newsweek - Absolutely the WORST customer service of any major
Absolutely the WORST customer service of any major company. The continual changes in accessibility since going digital have been frustrating. Currently they are telling me my subscription has expired. It goes to July 2015. They ask me to sign in. The don't recognize my name. They don't recognize my email. They don't recognize what I know to be my password. They don't answer emails to this effect. They have no phone number that works. Apparently having my money and driving me crazy is all they care about.

1/20/2014 Newsweek - I applaud your article on "Hit The Road Obama".
I applaud your article on "Hit The Road Obama". He is a despicable person who is moving forward with his professed agenda to make this country into a communist state. He is the most untruthful (liar) person to set foot in the white house as President. The oath of office he swore to uphold was discarded along with most of his campaign promises. Transparency of government activities was one of the first campaign promises he disregarded when he sealed most of his records from the public. By doing so he not only withheld the truth but caused years of unnecessary fact finding. He hates this country with a passion - - - - proof of this was evident from his 20 year close association with Rev. Wright, his refusal to honor our flag and other historical patriotic customs and his many disparaging comments about our military. These facts cannot be disputed unless you have blinders on, have severe mental disorder, ignorance or, you are one of the 47% who are on the government dole.

7/19/2013 Newsweek - I just got off the phone with a customer service
I just got off the phone with a customer service representative supervisor, Theresa. I had received an email informing me that there was a problem automatically renewing my subscription to Newsweek and asking me to enable my subscription by clicking on a link to update my account information. I had called to verify whether the email was in fact from Newsweek because I have, on several occasions received phishing email purporting to be from companies whith whom I do business only to discover that they were not from the companies. I told Theresa that I was uncomfortable providing any credit card information over the internet and asked if I could mail in a check to renew (I do not want to be on an automatic renewal plan). I was told that it was not possible. The tone of voice used by both the woman who initially answered the call and her supervisor sounded irritated and condescending and I felt that they thought that I was being overly cautious. After many, many years as a subscriber and avid reader of the magazine, I will not be renewing my subscription when it expires in August.
