When I call this number 888-642-6748, I never get to talk to a live person? I push "0" without talking to
anyone, then it asks me how I liked my experience talking to the representative. I need to talk to a live
person concerning our business's new gas bill.

5/10/2016 NICOR - My front yard was dug up to replace old gas pipes.
My front yard was dug up to replace old gas pipes. That was very nice. The workers said a crew would be along to repair the lawn damage. That was on April 11th. Today is May 10th and no damage has been repaired. I sent an email regarding this issue on May 5 and received a reply that "someone" would be contacting me within 1 business day. I' not sure how long your business day is but no one has contacted me via phone or email. I cannot reach a live person on your 888 number. I will contact my village office, next and or the newspaper. This is a small issue and yet it's a big problem regarding your customer service. I really expected more from Nicor.

I have received 2 phone call about a special offer for lowering my bill, when I ask for more information they hang up. I'm not sure what this is about but they claim that the info was in a flyer with my last bill. I did not keep that flyer so I just want more information.

4/20/2016 NICOR - My daughter-in-law just got home with her newborn
My daughter-in-law just got home with her newborn to find out that she has no gas, it was shut off. She was suppose to be on the budget plan. She was told she owes over $600. How can this be the budget plan. She has a newborn and can't even get any hot water for washing him etc. Shame on you Nicor for not being compassionate enough to wait a f***ing 2 more days for your f***ing money.

I have placed at least nine calls to Home solutions /comfort guard 800 number to get an explanation of the 4.95 charge on my monthly bill. I can't get through. How aggravating to stay on a phone line and have no one respond.I do plan to file a formal complaint . All mistreated customers should do the same.

I totally agree . This phone number stinks, there is NO ONE to talk to I have emailed 2x to find out when after digging up my front yard are they going to fix it cant get ANYONE to call me back. What a CROCK. I bet all these CEO assholes got HUGE bonus's this year. They too are clueless on what goes on in the real world anyway. All I want is my front yard fixed. Payed for Nicor solution service contract my hot water heater went out called for service man came out said I need a new part came the next day said I have hot water in 1 hour lol called the next morning said still no hot water came out again said it was a different part left came back the next day instilled a another new part said I have hot water in 1hour lol called the next morning again still no hot water the man said nothing wrong with the hot water tank it the vent on the roof ! Now the man didn't go up on the roof he just looked. Still no hot water now he calls it in to solutions an said he would ok for a new one but guess what now he won't install it cause of his farces on the roof it's now been 16 days with no hot water no the man who was suppose the install or fix the hot water tank won't still no hot water call solution to tell them an no one would help the same run around so I won't get their in insurance so I had to get a independent Plummer called got a new tank & HOT water 2days

I understand U want your payment but, I'm not working and still paying the bill on time but, I fell a payment behind and I get called a lot of calls and it's annoying. The service is not bad but, CS is. but, beware, a while back I gotta call claiming THEY WERE NICOR and I googled the # and it was a telemarketing scam. lastly, I know these guys have a stressful job but, please be more courteous and don't call at all hours (I know people who get calls at crazy hours and it's not right) and yes, Customers can be rude I know I am one at times but, people again worry about telemarketing scams.

Your customer service is awful. I have been trying to contact you for weeks and can never get through. All I ever get is your computer phone menu that goes in circles from your 888 number to your 630 corporate number. The 630 line says to talk to an operator press zero which I have done 35 times so far and that action sends me right into your computer phone menu. Now I received a letter that you are terminating my service because you have not heard from me. Believe me I am trying to contact you. The property is 613 S. Second St., West Dundee, IL I rent it out and the tenants pay the gas bill. You know that my tenants have moved out as of July of this year and you want the name of the person to be billed. As I have not rented out the property again I want the account put in my name. Your phone menu keeps asking me for the account number but I don't know the account number as I have no bills to check. Please change the billing name for the address given so that I am not disconnected.

just got my gas bill for $177.40 why this noy winter time. I called and the person I talked too said it was to the pilot light on the hot water tank and stove and dryer. Bull crap the pilot light does not put out that much gas. You people must think I am stupid And also I have a broken wire on the meter. So whyi am retired and only me living on a budget and get bills like this. Wish you people would fix this can't afford these kind of bills. If this is what I get in the summer hate to see what winter will bring. Come and check your meter. These are my readings 2 1 0 2

5/15/2014 NICOR - This company has forgot that customers come first.
This company has forgot that customers come first. We were down on our luck for a few months. As soon as nice weather hit they shut us off and within a few days the weather turned rainy and cold AGAIN. After paying the bill, I was told that no one was in area and they could not come out until Monday. I paid on a Thursday. When I asked to talk to supervisor, I was told it would be 24-48 hrs because they were all busy. What happened to customer service? Unfortunately, Nicor is my only option. I would change over to someone else in a heart beat.
