12/30/2010 Nintendo's customer service is incredible.
Nintendo's customer service is incredible. Recently the power switch on my son's DS lite quit working. Within a few moments on their website I was able to verify the DS was still under warranty. I only needed to enter the serial number of the product - I did not need to find any proof of purchase or warranty. I was also able to determine that this was a malfunction that must be fixed by them and would be done at no cost to me! I was even able to print a shipping label to pay for the shipping to Nintendo. Dispite this being over the Christmas holidays, they returned the unit working perfectly within 10 days (possibly less - we were out of town and I don't know when the unit arrived). They even extended the warranty. I can't think of a single thing they could have done to improve the process or the experience. Way to go Nintendo!!
