Great electric service reliability and line service, gotta give 'em that up front, so they get two stars for that.
But, TERRIBLE telephone communications. God help you if you need something that's two layers down in their system. They put you on hold for the second layer, then when they finally answer, they have to put you on hold the second time for the layer you want, then when they answer . . . well, you get the point. Two hours later, I'm still trying to get a reconnect on a repaired underground circuit. Unbelievable. No wonder my electrician made ME do the phone work!!!

11/17/2012 Thank you to Ohio Edison for restoring power after Hurricane Sandy
I want to thank all the men who worked tirelessly to restore power to our communities in New Jersey from hurricane Sandy. Although I waited a week to get my power back, some friends of mine waited longer and I can understand why. The devastation was immense. Thank you again.

9/12/2012 Just spoke to Wendy about a street light that was out and my home bill. She was very professional,helpful and answered my questions and addressed my concerns. This is not always the case with service companies so I can appreciate the complaints. Just thought it would be good to put balance to all the negative remarks from time to time.

I'm truly not understanding this company. I have always paid by credit card online and then my screen screwed up on laptop. So for this month must pay other way. I called and says must use checking or savings...Really??? Why do they care if use credit card...they charge small fee for using. My point is I paid same fee if I did online...so why must I WAIT to talk to someone to do this instead of doing automated payment. Could of done so much quicker other way!!!!!!! Sorry, just makes no sense :)

My Name is Marvin, Marva Parms my account is in Marva Parms Name, I was ask to pay $92.00 to have the Account put into my Name when I move in to the apartment

I'm at this time steal getting bill in in another person Name the name is John S. Dowler Account number

And has a Due Bill for August 31, 2012 for $493.64 this is a "DISCONNECTION NOTICE"

MY "COMPLAINT"

$92.00 was paid on my account I have not been sent a bill in my name for this apartment yet and the bill keep coming in the other person, John Dowler Name that was here before, this need to be check out as ASAP the disconnection is for August 31, 2012
