3/15/2014 I received my Pottery Barn order but it was the wrong color
I received my order but it was the wrong color from what I had ordered. Contacted them,said I wanted a refund not a replacement. they sent UPS form, it went back to Pottery barn. A few weeks later I still had not received a refund. e-mailed and got a long-winded explanation as to why it would take several weeks!!!!! Their mistake, not mine.

2/10/2014 Pottery Barn's customer service rating is a big fat F!
Rating is a big fat F. I have something to return so it says to go to potterybarn.com/returns. Once you get there and read the crap it says to call customer service...well it would be nice if the number was actually the customer service ...it's not they want you to take a 3 minute questionnaire and they'll give you $100 just press one ....since I didn't want to I didn't press one I waited and it just kept repeating over and over so finally I pressed 1 and a man (that by the way I could hardly understand..I won't even go there) asked if I was doing the $100 questionare I tried to explain what I needed and he hung up on me!

12/4/2012 Pottery Barn Customer Review: the worst company
Pottery barn is the worst company I have ever done business with. I placed an order for a large dough bowl. The first shipment contained a small dough bowl. The second shipment contained a medium dough bowl, 10 inches short of what I ordered and paid for. It has now been two weeks and my replacement was canceled by the company. I just spoke to them again and they are reissuing the order. It will be a miracle if I ever receive.

12/21/2011 Pottery Barn - I am in the middle of a terrible experience with
I am in the middle of a terrible experience with Pottery Barn. They advertise on their site a date to order by in order to "Have it Before Christmas." I ordered and rec'd shipping confirmation the very next day, along with information on how to track the order. I wasn't able to track the order. Two days later, I got an identical shipping confirmation, again, with instructions on how to track the order. after waiting 7 days, I decided to call customer service. She notified me that the item had not shipped but would be soon and that I would be getting a call sometime after Christmas to set up a delivery time. I told her that I ordered by the "Have it Before Christmas" date and that sometime after Christmas wasn't going to work. She transferred me to "Jackie" in furniture shipping "out in Nevada." Jackie was the rudest customer service rep I have ever dealt with. She told me that I would have my item sometime in January and left it at that. I will never do business with this company again.

9/20/2011 I have had terrible service from pottery barn
I have had terrible service from pottery barn --even for a substantial furniture order. I waited 10 minutes to speak to a customer service person and then got transferred immediately to a furniture person for another 15 minute wait. Their excellent customer service consisted of delaying delivery twice and then when they got to my house/road, they blocked the road so a friend of my neighbors could not drive out. When I told them to move the truck, they complained they would need to back everything up. I said so be it. Because they could not manauver the truck (the guys were dressed worse than the pick up guys looking for work on the side of home delivery), they drove away. I finally got a customer service, she assured me a 10% discount and I would get delivery on Monday. No such thing. Jessie from Excel deliver called me and said they would take care of it. On Monday Excel called back and said they would deliver it on friday. I explained I am working. They said Saturday then. I said no. I was promised immediate delivery for a man who refused to even give me his title in Ohio ( I am in Washington State). He had a young girl call me back and announce a Friday delivery date. When I tried to call pottery barn back I got a nice women in customer service. She said they had a 30 minute wait in customer service. She would try to get a supervisory. This was at 2 in the afternoon. The supervisor said she tried to call me back but the phone was busy. No one had called as I sat at home until 4:40 waiting. Finally I left. I got a call back at 6 p.m. when I was not home. Did not check voice mail until morning and of course this person is not in. I am angry and upset.

I totally agree. I have a problem with Pottery Barn not honoring their 15% discount and I was told it would apply when my order was shipped. This was confirmed by "Michelle, x2251" during my phone transfer to her after the first person could not solve it. Trying to navigate through their phone system took at least $2.00 of my phone time. Pressing zero did nothing. Someone else by the name of "Kenny" sent me an email and wrote that my 15% did not apply . . . . So far, after I responded to his email, I've had no response from Pottery Barn. If this is not taken care of, I will have to contact our Attorney General's office since I feel that there is deceptive advertising on their website when it comes to Sales. I tried calling twice this morning, but was put on hold again and again.

And also i was working with Exel direct at charwood road in Hanover Md. we had William Sonoma account at that time. I have the experience in set-up furniture over ten years. If you have any contract available at this time to deliver your product. I have ten commercial trucks ( 26' foot long with lift gate) and very good drivers with experience.

The Pottery Barn customer service phone tree takes 5+ minutes simply to navigate through before it even gives the option to talk to a representative! This is the most infuriating and pathetic customer service phone system I have ever encountered. Hitting zero had no effect. They should throw it out and take some cues from AMERICAN EXPRESS or Sears who have superior customer service phone systems.
