10/9/2014 I just started rent with Public storage and they
I just started rent with Public storage and they gave me a whole different price for there unit. When I got there they stated it was no longer available for that unit price, but if I pay for a lager unit I can get a smaller price . Later on if I can Down size my unit do that my monthly fee wouldn't be as high. Turn out they lied because if downsizing means only a ten dollars difference then they really Suck.

8/14/2014 I have submitted two emails to Public Storage and
I have submitted two emails to Public Storage and have received absolutely no response from them. I use the Public Storage unit in Eden Prairie, MN. I pay on time and I have had the unit for years. In July, I made the payment on July 7. The reason for this was that I was in the hospital following an auto accident. I did not get out of the hospital until July 7. I made the payment as soon as I could. I was charged a late fee. I made the payment in May on May 7 and was not charged a late fee. This is not right. You have to have a consistent policy. I live alone and therefore I was not able to make this payment on line or in person until July 7. This was an extenuating circumstance. Why is it that you do not respond to email correspondence? What kind of customer service is this? The late fee you charge is obscene and the monthly rent you now charge me for a unit without any air conditioning or heat is obscene. cc: Better Business Bureau cc: MN Attorney General

6/4/2014 Public Storage - Very angry tried 2 call customer service 3 times
Very angry tried 2 call customer service 3 times all I got was some company trying 2 sell me something 4 people over 60,then a gift card 4 Wal-Mart, then when I punched the pound button 2 say no I was hung up on! Then i've been a customer 4 6 year's, I pay on time every month, now today I just received a notice stating my rent is going up $20 bucks! Just like that! What happened 2 loyal customers discount! This is a joke, I think i'm going 2 look 4 a new storage company!

Security is horrible !!! Staff is great : ) and it is clean but security is an illusion.

Called customer service at the beginning of February and called district manager on March 5th. Aside from "read the small print" still waiting for response. Emailed again March 27th. Nothing.

Don't waste your money on the illusion of security !

11/12/2013 Public Storage will increase your rate every year
Public Storage will increase your rate every year, but offer a new customer a rate of half the price. I have tried calling the corportate office and was told they would take $6 off my monthly bill. Insulting. I looked online again last week and the rate for a new customer is $102, but for me, who has paid every month for 7 years, it's $179. I was finally given the name of a regional manager who I have left several messsages for and haven't heard back. Beware of this company. They don't appreciate your business, and I would almost call them crooks.

I have had great customer service at the Bell/Red location. Helpful, courteous and quick to respond. My things stored there have been safe from breakins, mice. I love the location and hours. Love the people who have worked there and as of lately Jennifer, who is on top of everything. Thank you for maintaining the lot and units/gate, etc.

9/7/2013 Public Storage elevator not working and stair doors were locked
I went to the storage unit and the elevator was not working.I went to use the stairs and the doors to the stairs was locked. Isn't that illegial to have the stais locked in case of a fire?The office was closed so I could not get in my unit.

6/9/2013 Public Storage - I made payment on-line and cancel my auto pay. Two
I made payment on-line and cancel my auto pay. Two days later , Public Storage charged me again one more and made my checking account "overdraft" and the Bank charged me $35.00 for overdraft fee. Public Storage denied to reimburse the fee charged by the Bank which was " not my fault".

I do not recommended to use this " Public Storage" as your storage.

5/9/2013 Public Storage - I have had my storage unit for two years & almost
I have had my storage unit for two years & almost always paid by auto pay. Every month they got the payments automatically. In April 2013 I called around the 12th to make dure my payment went through automatically as it usually does and the gentleman who answered the phone looked up my account with my unit number and name. He confirmed that my payment went through! However, now I have been getting calls to the contrary and through no fault of my own, you see they're charging me a late fee of almost $50!!! This late fee must be waived because it is not my fault! I am responsible enough to call to confirm it and I have been a very good customer. Please waive the late fee for the month of April. This was through no fault of my own!
