8/25/2016 I have a set of Pyrex Bowls round ovenware and all
I have a set of Pyrex Bowls round ovenware and all the bows are plain PINK. they are 58 years old. My husband gave them to me in 1958 as a Mother's Day gift while awaiting the birth of our son. They have been used over and over through the years and are still going strong. I thought maybe to find the worth of them out of curiosity and nothing more. I hope to hand these bowls down so they can keep on cooking. Thank you for their many years of service.

8/23/2016 i have been using old and new pyrex cookware for
i have been using old and new pyrex cookware for almost 20 years. and i have had many pieces broken from dropping them, family stealing them and few over the years explode(2 pie dishes,2 glass bread pans, 4 the whole set of small signal serve baking dishes) . but in the last 6 months i think i lost more pieces to explosions then anything. i had a measuring cup explode poring milk in it, i had a bowl explode as i was mashing potatoes with a fork. i had 2 new bowls explode at once i just washed one and set it in another before i rinsed them and they both exploded. i was baking in one of the older ones and as i pulled it out and placed it on a towel it exploded, getting glass and food everywhere.i had another as i put it on a towel split in half was able to save that dinner, mostly. but today is the last draw my most favorite baking dish was my pink 2 sided baking dish with the original lid from around the 50s exploded in the oven. i cooked the same thing i did twice before this week in the same dish, the same temp, the same way.(been on Alaskan sole kick) 1st and 2nd time it was in the oven for about an hour this time it was in there 20min when i heard it explode. the lid survived but the food didn't.. i think its time to sell off all my pyrex i still have and go with metal pans and plastic bowls.

As with many other complaints,,my Pyrex baking dish exploded in my hands after removing it from the oven. Don't tell us it's safe if it is not and dishes are obviously not safe.

4/5/2016 I love to cook and bake and have used pyrex
I love to cook and bake and have used pyrex products for years. In the past three months, however, two of my pyrex bakeware dishes exploded into pieces when I tried to remove it from the oven. One was a 13 x 9 pan which broke in large pieces, an easy clean up. My lasagne glass cobalt blue dish shattered into very small pieces all through my oven and onto the floor. Both these dished were old, but not chipped. Over the years do they loose their strength. I will need to purchase some new bakeware, but I'm not sure whether to replace them with the same after this incident. Any suggestions?

2/25/2016 Pyrex - my problem is with most of the lids cracking to the point of not being very effective
I don't cook with my pyrex but my problem is with most of the lids cracking to the point of not being very effective. I have washed the lids on the top rack of my dishwasher and never in the microwave. I just bought a set about 3 months ago and those lids are failing!! I like the glass but what are you making the lids out of?? I am planning on calling customer support.

1/31/2016 Pyrex shattered when I took it out and placed it on the counter
I used my Pyrex today to make corn bread. 20 minutes in 400' and it shattered when I took it out and placed it on the counter. Bummed about my pan but glad it wasn't to the extent of some others.

I have been using Pyrex for years but somehow I kept lid on container and warm my food in microwave. Result of that , the lids got ruin and I can not use it on container any more. I had hard time remembering it not to keep lid on container when I warm up my food. I ruin four lids so far on my new purchase Pyrex container. I had warranty paper and called customer service. And customer service is shipping me four lids and I will get lids in two weeks.
I am so Happy:)
Great Customer Service!

I received a set of PYrex storage containers for Christmas. the first time I used one of the containers in the microwave, the lid bent out of shape and now does not fit onto the container. It says its microwave safe - so now what - I have a whole set of containers that belong in the 1950' before microwave were invented.

Please let me know what I should or what you will do.

Thanks,

12/1/2015 unable to get any help after a pyrex baking dish
unable to get any help after a pyrex baking dish shattered after removing it from the oven , leaving me with burns and cuts to my face, chest & hands and to my daughter's face. I am calling an attorney if they do not want to handle this appropriately. I made a pork roast and my daughter took it out of the oven so I could teach her how to baste it. Just about 60 seconds after removing it, the explosion occurred. the shards of glass covered the food as well. Now my daughter and I are left with cuts & burns (pictures to prove it) and also out the cost and time of preparing dinner and the cost of the baking dish, the time it took to clean the glass and food (while cleaning the glass I obtained another cut). PYREX WILL BE PULLED FROM THE SHELVES WHEN I AM DONE!
Anyone wanting to help get Pyrex to stop selling these dangerous products PLEASE reach out or leave an additional comment and I will leave contact information......THIS IS REDICULOUS!
