I have tried for 2 weeks to have my phone diconnected, I have tried to find a place on line, now I am our of the country, I called on the weekend before leaving the country. Guess what, they have no service on the weekends. They are a lousy company, and guess what I have automatic pay for my bill, so they get to draw out for another month, idoits

So far I am NOT impressed.

(1) The first time I called with a question, I made the mistake of saying 'Qwest' instead of Century Link. The representative was more concerned about correcting me ("Maam, we are not Qwest anymore" at least six times), than solving my problem. I ended up saying goodbye and calling back to speak to someone else.

(2) Now we just received our first bill, which is $24 more than it should be. I called, and the rep explained that the items the salesperson told me wouldn't be charged for, will be charged for. He said that the salesperson was wrong, and should be reprimanded. I don't care about that, I just want my bill to reflect what was promised. Now I wait for a supervisor to call me back; sometime at their convenience within the next two days. How customer-service oriented is that? We'll see what happens if a supervisor truly does call me back.

9/27/2011 Qwest - Today I contacted Q-worst(Century Link) to end all
Today I contacted Q-worst(Century Link) to end all services. After following the prompts and holding for five minutes, I was disconnected without taking to a "consultant". I called back and Craig was very helpfull. My heartburn goes back a long time. Starting with U.S. Worst attempting to charge me $11K (not a typo!) for a land line due to runnning a 25 pair cable 1/2 mile to service me. Keep in mind that I only require one line. The remaining 24 pair would be used by U.S. Worst for servicing any additional residences off this same line that I would have paid to have installed. The "funny" thing is the power company contacted U.S. Worst to see if they would supply the phone cable so both could be burried in the same trench at the power companies expense, U.S. Worst refused. To make matters worse, the power company set up services and not cost. Needless to say, after sevaral weeks of fighting this, I contact the state phone commisioner. Thankfully they got the fee signifigantly reduced. As a result of this and other issues related to this company, I will never do business with them or any of their future company brands. I only bring this up as Century Link (Qworst) has the same set of mgmt running thier territories. After 13+ years of "service", it was great to say goodby.

9/9/2011 Qwest - Do NOT use this company. I called them to start
Do NOT use this company. I called them to start internet service with them they told me they would send me the wireless modem and set it up myself. After sending me the modem they told me I could not set it up myself I needed a technician to come out. They scheduled the technician three weeks out and then he came on the wrong day. I called them to let them know. The guy I spoke to put me on hold for half an hour and then told me he couldn't get a hold of the technician but I should be home all day the next week to wait for the technician. I was home for about 5 hours and no one came. I called to complain and spoke to a nice gentleman who gave me his e-mail in case I had more problems. I did and when I emailed him he never wrote back. I finally got a technician to come out three weeks after the second time the technician came out on the wrong day again. After trying to call to set up my internet the woman I spoke to told me I had to schedule a technician to come out again to come into my house to see why the internet would not work. Thier customer service is attrocious I have not talked to one person who has had anything good to say about this company. I will NEVER use them for anything!!!

1/15/2011 Qwest gives people the run around like crazy, and
Qwest gives people the run around like crazy, and they are way too exspensive. I don't know how many times I called in to change my plan so I wouldn't have to pay about $200 a month and I still pay that much!!! I don't know what it is with Qwest but I swear this serice is robbing me!!!! I mean come on who pays $80 bucks for regular phone service and another additional $80 bucks for long distance!!! and thats not even half of problems I'm getting from them.

before Thanksgiving, we called Qwest and told them there is so much static on our phone, we cannot use it.....they came out and said they would replace our 50-60 year old phone line....they painted orange arrows in our yard.............and never showed up again. So, I called them again.....they were supposed to call between 12 noon, and 4 PM today, and didn't.......we pay for repairs, on our bill, every month [for about 26 years now]..Im thinking we don't even need a home phone...we have cell phones...Qwest better wake up and smell the coffee

10/5/2010 Qwest - 10/5/10 This is the worst service we have ever
10/5/10 This is the worst service we have ever had. We have only had High Speed internet for one month. In one month I have had to call Qwest more than 5 times, had a service man at our house for 4 hours till he finally figured out it was the motum. Had to call again today and they are going to send me out my THIRD motum. Qwest has given me so much STRESS, if the service doesn't improve, I am going to cancel my service.

The term "Customer Service" is too good for the 'service' that one finds at that number. Qwest's "High Speed" internet is supposed to give us 20 Mbps, and no one I know in my town gets over 6 Mbps on a good day.

7/17/2010 Qwest - my phone lines are having difficulty starting in
my phone lines are having difficulty starting in January one line started malfunctioning then when they fixed that the other line quit working when they fixd that
my internet quit, now they fixed it and were back to my fax line not working

this is rediculous and someone owes me big for all of the lost service that I hav
paid for and did not recieve.
