I bought your Faucet and Sink Installer.... The photos on the packaging implied it was a "universal tool" and would solve most of your installation and repair needs. NOTHING COULD HAVE BEEN FARTHER FROM REALITY!. 1ST, THE LACK OF REAL INSTRUCTIONS IN ITS USE. UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS WILL IT SOLVE YOUR NEEDS. ALL THE PICTURES SHOW OPEN SPACE WHERE THE TOOL IS BEING USED. WHAT, NO-ONE HAS TIGHT SPACES UNDER THEIR SINK? MY BIGGEST COMPLAINT IS THE TOTAL LACK OF DEFINITIVE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS.

I COULD'NT USE IT TO LOOSEN THE Price Pfister lock down Sprayer nuts or faucet nuts that were "TAB-LESS"!

I can't to read your comments!

6/7/2012 Rigid - I have a 18 volt drill which the battery will not
I have a 18 volt drill which the battery will not hold charge. Home Depot states you will not replace battery because you lost my registration. I have (3) rigids drills, (2) rigid vac cleaner, sable saw and other rigids tools. I have a lifetime replacment on batteries, so REPLACE. I am looking on getting a new table saw but if this is the way your warranty works, I guess I will be looking some where else. I have really liked your product but warranty seems to be something else.

3/18/2012 Rigid - I bought a twin battery charger, never worked out
I bought a twin battery charger, never worked out the box. I took it to a service center, the charger is over 3 years old and I need the lsa card. The lsa card takes FOREVER to process, got an email saying it was verified one year ago, never got a card! Called their "cust svc" line, was on hold for over 1 hr, nobody picked up. Their CS sucks majorly!! They've been making junk lately.

This charger is unavailable at hd in store.

I'm a licensed general contractor who has two other cordless Ridgid sets, a Ridgid chop saw, and Ridgid pipe wrenches. Never buying a Ridgid cordless tool again :/

1/7/2012 Rigid - Ridgid 18v batteries suck and their customer
Ridgid 18v batteries suck and their customer service is even worse. I have spent well over $250 on replacement batteries and all three have failed. Home Depot has passed the buck on service and Ridgid customer service doesn't pick up the phone. When they do (after an hour) they will not stand behind their warrenty. Said because I really liked the performance of the drill when it worked.
Funny thing is my cheapo Ryobi 18V has outlasted the so called top quality Rigid....

4/13/2011 I purchased a Rigid Cordless 18V Power Drill Pack
I purchased a Rigid Cordless 18V Power Drill Pack (charger, two batteries along with the drill) I started having problems witin 57 months with one battery. Would not hold a charge. I registered the product within the first week of the purchase from my local Home Depot. I contacted customer service about the weak battery and they said to "clean the contacts on the charger and battery" which I have several times. I've been in touch with Rigid's customer service and it's got to be one of the most frustrating experiences dealing with a product line and their warranty I've ever experienced. The head rep is a fan of Kafka I believe and has a terrible lack of communication skills... can be one explanation of their customer service treatment. I'm getting absolutely no where. I've been asked to "re-register" the product after 2 1/2 years of off and on dealing with these guys and still have not gotten any results other than the build up of bad will and frustration from dealing with a company that really just does not seem to care about backing their products or how they treat their customers. I've filled out the product form now 5 times with the serial and model numbers. They write back....to "UNKNOWN" customer. Me! I've given them my name easily 6-7 times. When I went to their site again after I was asked to "register" the product. I put in my email address and they said "I couldn't use that email address....because it was already taken!!" ha, ha. I've one Rigid product...this one. The one that is registered and that have it on file....that's why my email address is in their files!! Their website works as well as their products do! NOT! Anyway...my frustrations have grown here with their customer rep. He has managed to instill a deep resentment of me ever buying this Rigid drill....Home Depot is worthless with helping. They sold me on the product because it "had a lifetime warranty" Good luck anyone actually getting any positive support or results with their customer service. They are now asking after I've filled out their forms 4-5 times over 2 1/2 years to now send in my original purchase receipt sku numbers. I doubt I have them after this long. But, your not asked that when you register the product. I highly advise anyone considering buying a power tool to stay away from Rigid and save them many hours of frustrating headaches and avoiding this kind of experience. My neighbor who bought a Makita 18 V drill pack at the same time is going strong. No problems. My ohter Ryobi 12 V cordless is still going strong with no battery issues or problems. Thank you for letting me vent. Sincerely in Canyon Country, Ca.

12/6/2010 Rigid tool co. I got a planer Tp13002 bought in
Rigid tool co. I got a planer Tp13002 bought in 2002. It was used 5 hrs. to make a bar top out of white pine for a bar. I go to use it 2 months ago and it don't work. A wire from one of the brushes os off. I put in 2 new brushes, srart it up and it makes noise. I take it to Power tool service Co in Green Bay. They estimate $100.00. They call back and say it needs a new motor. Charge me $243.75, which I agree to because I want to use it. I ask for the old motor back and they fish it out of the junk. Both brgs. are good. How do you not repair a motor and just throw away the whole thing? I can't see how a motor can go bad not bding used. The old brushes had very little wear. How can you justify charging me for a new motor with hardly no use on it regardless of it'e age? Your guanantee must mean nothing because the motor should be fine not being used. I think I need an explanation and a refund. i WILL SEND BACK THE OLD MOTOR for you to inspect in your prepaid shipping box for you to look at if you wish and explain what I did wrong to cause any damage, otherwise refund my money.
