8/13/2016 Ryobi - I am afraid this isn't good news. I am in hopes I
I am afraid this isn't good news. I am in hopes I can get some help with a blower.
It was a Christmas gift. I used very little until summer came around. Then it would now charge. I was told to take it to Home Depot. I did as told. They sent the thing off to be repaired. After 3/4 weeks I got it back. The service person at Home Depot told me it was just a bad battery. So I was pleased and took it home and used it that day. Now time to charge it! It would not charge. I called Ryobi and the person told me with the red light blinking it was a bad battery.( I had just gotten a new battery) So then I was told to take it to a service center, I did. It wasn't close!
I again was told it was a bad battery, that they would have to order me one. That took almost 3 weeks. I drove again across town to get the new battery. I used it and it seemed to be fine until it was time to charge it. Again it wont charge!!! So now it has been 7 weeks with out it. I just don't know what to think at this point. I sure hope you can help me with this matter.

13 Months ago we had a roof over put on . While having my gutters cleaned the guy noticed something on the top of my roof, and climbed up to check it out. When he came back down he handed me a rechargeable drill. It was quite rusted and weathered . The first thing I did was pull the trigger and the damn thing worked and had enough juice to use . It even had screws sticking to it. One damn fine piece of equipment if ya ask me.

6/17/2016 Ryobi - I received an edger for Christmas and used it one
I received an edger for Christmas and used it one time this spring and when I went to use it again, it wouldn't work. I was upset when I tried to return it to Home DePot and was told that they didn' t carry the product anymore. I was given a customer service number for Ryobi and was instructed to take it to a service center for diagnostic. I'm confused, because the product states it has a 3 year warranty. Also, the service center said they would call after they found out what was wrong and they would then let me know if there would be a charge to repair it. Whaat the f____!!! I thought that Ryobi was a stand up company and would stand behind their products. After reading many of the comments by other people who have also had problems I guess I was wrong.

2/29/2016 Ryobi - The video on your website claims that the P125
The video on your website claims that the P125 Super Charger "charges, maintains and stores up to 6 batteries batteries, and also prolongs and conserves energy". Also, it continues to say "...2nd Mode does maintenance check." Furthermore, it says "Every 5 days it would check and top it off [the charge] as needed." I, however, read reviews that if you leave your battery in the unit, it would "kill" the battery, and that it does not recharge the batteries to top it off after it is fully charged as it is claimed. Your customer support confirmed this and said that it is recommended removing the battery and not leave it in the charger forever. This is a complete opposite of your advertisement and defeats the purpose of buying the unit. Please let me know how the unit actually works because I just bought the unit, and I will need to return it if indeed I can't leave the batteries in the unit so it's fully charged when I need it. Thanks.

I have a ryobi complete set of tools. I purchased new batteries and of course the battery does not hold a charge . Ryobi customer service wont deal with any help only a receipt. The battery is supposed to be warrantied for 3 years, its only a little over one year and no help. They have the manufactured date on battery they know when its made but do you think they would help. Sorry ryobi i will be switching over to rigid tools. joe from pa.

6/17/2015 Purchased a new Ryobi weed eater about a month ago
Purchased a new weed eater about a month ago, will not start .

I am 69 years old and need one that starts easily ,this one I cannot start after following the instructions on the unit.
Have an old one 20 years old that still starts, but the string keeps breaking, so I got a new one ,but it was impossible to start.

I also got 2 other attachments for the unit. Prior to this purchase I would have given you a 5 star rating, but now only 1.

Can I return it and get my money back

5/9/2015 I purchased a Ryobi,RY28140 January 2015, I used
I purchased a Ryobi,RY28140 January 2015, I used the trimmer 3 times and have found designed changes have created problems. The trigger has been moved back closer to the engine which changes the balance and causes the hot motor to come in contact with my arm. This is a real problem. Also with change of the gas tank to a side fill; if there is any gas left in the tank it causes a hard start. I contacted Ryobi customer support and was told they were aware of these problems but nothing could be done. I've owned three other Ryobi (two 725s and one 775R) they were excellent machines, two are still running.
The company rating will not allow me to rate a minus rating.
So I guess my only option is a word of mouth to any potential buyers is to be aware.
