9/23/2016 SkyCaddie - I received an email today to extend the warranty
I received an email today to extend the warranty on my Breeze. It is interesting that I received this offer today since my breeze had a hardware failure 2 days ago (exception notice). After a number of attempts to resolve the problem with the online agent I was told it was not repairable and I had to purchase a touch replacement for $130 (plus shipping!). This is the second time I have experienced a hardware problem on one of my skycaddie units and have had to purchase a replacement. I am extremely disappointed in the hardware reliability of these units. When they work, they are great, but having to spend additional money every few years when the hardware fails is not a satisfying customer experience. Based on these experiences, I would not have ordered the touch if I had not purchased a multi year membership last year. I have been a customer for many years, and have recommended skycaddie to a number of fellow golfers, but will no longer be recommending skycaddie. I expect the touch to be my last Skycaddie purchase.

Bought a skycaddie touch, the touch screen stopped working after nine months and after a year and a half the battery stopped charging. Near impossible to speak with someone at this company. Wasted good money on a PIECE OF CRAP PRODUCT. Not sure how this company can stay in business.

The programming for syncing my GPS unit just didn't work. I was told I had to connect to a "Super" tech support person, and let them take control of my computer. I did this for about 10 minutes and nothing happened. Now I'm trying to get through on the phone. Been waiting 15 minutes and listening to music. They don't answer the phone.
