9/1/2016 Square Up - Started processing payments through Square
Started processing payments through Square 7/12/2016. Seven orders processed through 7/18 including two overseas orders. Notified that a payment was processed at 6:44 pm on 7/18. At 10:42 pm on 7/18 received a notice that the account had been deactivated and that any funds currently in the account would be held for 90 days before being released to the linked bank account. Because the account had been deactivated there was no way to get a code to speak with anyone from Square. Decisions to deactivate accounts is Square's to make, but not communicating with us to at least verify the amount being held, or attempting to verify that these are legitimate transactions and then making it otherwise impossible to contact Square representatives is unacceptable.

8/30/2016 Square Up - this so called company charged my customer a week
this so called company charged my customer a week ago and still have not put my funds in my account and you cant even talk to a live person. This is really bad customer service and bad business I regret switching to square!!!!!!!!!!!!! I give them a negative 5 star!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Completely agree with all the above-mentioned comments. How can their CEO/Chairman who also owns Twitter a communications outlet now in charge of a financial institution not understand the need to cross-reference on providing support to both entities. This is particularly difficult as it is people's money and you cannot speak to anyone about your own money that they are in control of. My computer was down so I could not receive a customer code so that was it! The customer was charged in excess of the amount I stipulated and I could not correct my error. How wrong is that and why are they hiding behind tecnology!!!!

I am trying to set up the website and had a simple question for Customer Service, but no one has responded. I can't get through the phone number; it's like a never-ending loop of frustration. I am glad to know ahead of time before actually needing something. This was a real let down.

12/1/2015 Square Up - They have taken my customers money but not passed it on to me
I have used them for a few years, never a problem until now. They have taken my customers money but not passed it on to me. They are asking for things I don't have (business registration paperwork from 2003), And, then I couldn't call them until I found this thread, but it is after their business hours. WTF am I supposed to do? If they needed this stuff, they should have required it before you could sign up.. Seriously?
