Hello:

To say that I'm frustrated or disheartened would be a great understatement!! I'll start with today's experience and trace backwards. On Sunday we were visiting CA and had the need for an air mattress. We purchased one at your Target there for $29.99 (before taxes). The air mattress had a leak by the 3rd night. We returned to LV last night and I brought the mattress, along with the receipt, to your far NW store today. I was assisted (I'm using that term loosely) by Rose. She informed me that I cannot receive a refund because the air mattress had been opened. She said I had to get another air mattress, couldn't get a store credit. Went and grabbed another mattress that cost exactly $1 more, took it back to Rose, she could not figure out how to get the register to exchange the mattresses and add on the difference. What she did end up doing (I should have looked before I left!) was charge me for the new mattress + taxes, and entered a gift card in the amount of $31.05. So instead of giving me credit for the taxes I paid on the damaged mattress, she gave me 6 cents. So basically I was shorted $1.38.

Going back to last week, I sent my son to grab chips and dip, and he forgot to use the Cartwheel.
So I went back 4 days later and was assisted (again, using the term loosely) by Rose. She told me that your store only honors Cartwheel for 3 days. She said there is no way to override the system, I have seen this done in the past. I asked to speak to a manager because it had only been a day past, and she said she is sort of front of the house mgr. This seems humorous to me because Rose was not even able to do a refund/purchase for my mattress without what she referred to as "overriding the system."

Given the frustration towards the beginning of this email, instead of getting the remaining items on my list and spending well over $100 with your store, I spent $6, $1.38 of which was an overcharge, with your store. I would call that a loss!

I used to shop at Target several times weekly, but since you all have changed your coupon policy and I am met with nothing less that total frustration when having to visit your service desk, I do not ship at Target regularly. I spend thousands less per year now, which may not make a difference to you, but maybe when more customers experience similar issues, you will begin to see a sizable difference in revenue. I prefer to go to Walmart, which is more crowded (now I see why), and not get hassled over defective items, and have money taken from me by incompetent "sort of front of house managers."

Now I find myself having to decide if it is worth it to go back your store and try to explain this to Rose, and become frustrated while wasting the gas to get there, or just call it a day. Either way, I would hope your company would care about its employees being somewhat dishonest and taking money little by little from people that would be profitable customers.

3/2/2016 Just had the greatest experience with the Target customer service representative
Just had the greatest experience with the customer service representative, Tyler. He was very accommodating to this grandma who had an item cancelled out of her order and was very upset. He called stores looking for the item but to no avail no store had it. He advised me to order it and have it shipped to the closest store to me as a raincheck. I cannot thank him enough for his help in this matter. I know my daughter will be a happy camper when her daughter wears the PJ's.

I bought a printer advertised for $49.99 and a FREE $10.00 gift card. The Nashville, TN West store charged me $59.99. I had to make two trips to the customer service desk to get my $10 + tax back. Even though the tickets on the shelve stated $49.99 with a FREE $10.00 gift card, Customer service could not refund my Visa card because the computer had the price as $59.99 and a free $10.00 gift card. Customer service finally gave me $10.93 back in cash. Most of the Nashville stores had sold out of the printers and I most likely was the only person to get one at the advertised price. Most people use credit cards and do not look at their receipt. Poor fools.

7/9/2015 Target - I canceled an order within ten minutes of placing
I canceled an order within ten minutes of placing it. I then placed another order, needless to say both orders were sent. I had canceled the order on line and then called a spoke to a customer service rep. The person I spoke to had a very thick accident and I could not understand what she was saying and I don't think she understood me. The double order is an inconvenience to the person I sent it to, she has to take it to the store to return. It's also an inconvenience for me because my card has been charged for both orders. It would definitely help if they had employees that cannot speak or understand English to transfer to calls to someone who can.

The store itself is clean and organized. Calling customer service is no fun though. The connection is poor every time I call and the agents have very poor English. Additionally, the customer service center has one of those phone systems that sounds like they hang up after I speak and doesn't click on again until one of us speak. I'm not sure if they heard me or not. Customer service isn't what it used to be anywhere anymore.

I love the Waterford lakes target in Orlando. Always shop there and find the staff always willing to help.
Except my visit today. The manger was rude and not helpful at all when I had a question about a coupon.
I have been shopping for more than 10 years and never had am issue but today I was very upset at the way I was treated.

1/19/2014 I have been a customer with a Target Credit Card
I have been a customer with a Target Credit Card member since 2011. When I had contacted a customer service representative on January 11. 2014 at 2:10 p.m. I had spoken with a Veronica. I was calling to see about closing out my credit card and see about receiving a different number due to the incidents of thefts amongst so many millions customer's accounts. I stated to Ms. Veronica that this matter has concerned me. She was so rude to me by stating that by looking at my account that mines was not included. I stated that I would feel more comfortable by receiving a new card. She again kelp trying to tell me how SHE FEELS that I didn't need to do that. I became very upset and I asked to speak with her manager, before I knew it she had hung up on me. I thought that your company would have trained your customer service representative to respect and be courteous to the customers. This I did not get from Veronica. I am filing a complaint and leaving this negative feedback about your company. I am also going to close out my account and never shop at this company again due to this horrible incident I have experienced.
