Why occasionally so some of the clothes ordered from their website come with stains on them, are they perused? are they from thrift shops? Calling any of their customer service phone numbers and corporate phone numbers listed on the internet either are not in service or connected to recordings, doesn't anyone work for The Children's Place other than in their stores? I personally feel that their company should be as big as Pan American Airlines is today.

ON Wednesday I had my daughter purchase and pay for two dresses for my grandaugers using my credit card. WE PAID AN EXTRA NEXT DAY SHIPPING CHARGE OF $20.00 so they could have the dresses by Friday because the Easter pictures were scheduled to be taken on Saturday. We received notice on Wednesday which was sent from the Children's Place of the UPS tracking number of the package shipped to us by Children's Place on Wednesday. When we called UPS on Friday during the day UPS HAD NO RECORD OF THE PACKAGE BEING DELIVERED TO UPS AND DID NOT HAVE THE PACKAGE DELIVERED TO UPS UNTIL 6:45PM ON FRIDAY THE 11TH BECAUSE THE CHILDRENS PLACE USES A THIRD PARTY DELIVERY SERVICE. The alleged delivery to UPS per the tracking number issued on Wednesday the 9th per the e-mail from the Children's Place is a COMPLETELY FALSE CLAIM BEING MADE BY THE CHILDREN'S PLACE because the package was not actually delivered to UPS by the THIRD PARTY COURIER UNTIL LATE FRIDAY EVEN, which the two days after we PAID for the NEXT DAY DELEVIRY FEE or at the VERY LEASET THE 1 DAY Later Delivery FEE of $20.00 EXTRA on a $36.00 total mechandise order. This Can Be Verified Under Order Number 101201582 and Tracking Number 1ZW641071392341119.

After reading all of these comments, my thought to call customer service might be a waste of time. Maybe that is just what they want me to do. I'm going to call about the store in Chattanooga TN, got the worse service from an employee, (her name is Nicole) that forgot she works in a store and not outdoors. Her attitude from the beginning was rude, and it got worse. We were verifying prices as the items are being rung up. We questioned a couple of the items as being wrong. I guess it was a little more work for her to verify and ring up the correct price. This is where it really got ugly, and she raised her voice or course we in turn raised our voice. This is when I asked the manager to help, she seemed confused and out of space, (her name is Kathy)I guess she wasn't the manager after all, because I know a real manager wouldn't have let any employee talk to paying customers in that manner. So I will take my chances and call customer service, I'm sure someone cares about how customers are being treated.

1/7/2014 The Children's Place Retail Stores Inc. - Problems with Children's Place Winter Jacket
I bought a 3 in 1 winter jacket for my grandaughter, after one wash the colors bled into one another ruining the jacket. After numerous calls to the customer service number 1-877-752-2387 and being transfered around numerous times and speaking to a supervisor I got no where, in my effort of replacing the jacket. All I wanted to do was exchange the jacket since I could not find the size locally. The only resolution they gave me was to purchase another jacket that they would send it to me. I did not want to purchase another jacket, I waned to exchange the jacket. They did not understand what I was attempting to do. When I asked to speak to someone in the USA, I was put on an additional hold of 27 minutes, the person who picked up the phone assured me in very broken english that was even worse than the first 2 people I spoke to that I was indeed in the United States call center. Needless to say I am very frusterated and have gotten no where. At this point I instructed them to close my "diamond" account (just a glorified title that means I spend way to much money here) with the Childrens Place and will be taking my business elsewhere. Apparently, they can not close the account either, that is another process. All I can say is good bye childrens place I am done with you, your customer service is below satisfactory you should be ashamed!

8/21/2013 The Children's Place Retail Stores Inc. - Children's Place terrible customer service - I'm pretty sure they are in India
I put in an order (one of many I've done) for my grand daughters and the first order was canceled. The total was $338.00. I assumed maybe I had put in the wrong phone number for my CC account. So I redid the order (took me over an hour to again pick out the clothing and sizes for the two girls since I was not able to just re-order. I had 25 items I had to re-do. Very frustrating.

So I again redid the order and it AGAIN was canceled.

When I called customer service I ended up talking to I'm pretty sure someone in India. Could not understand the woman and she clearly could not understand English. She informed me I had to have the billing address and the mailing address the same.

I explained that I had put in many other orders and NEVER had to have the same address. Why would I order for someone else only to have it shipped to me and then have to turn around and ship it to my grand daughters in another state?

She said that was the only thing I could do in order for the order to go through. I told her Old Navy NEVER cancels my order and would be taking my business to them. Which I immediately did and they accepted my $360 order without a problem.

Will NEVER shop at Children's Place and will tell as many people as I can about the poor customer service I received and the dumb policy where you have to ship ONLY to the billing address.

I am the mother of an associate that works for The Childrens Place in Greenwood SC. First let me ask you where do you find managers and assistant mangers at and what qualifications are needed to be one? The two in Greenwood are a joke. No skills at all. Their is a lot going on in that store that I would think your company would not approve of. You don't use my daughter's car to take a bank deposit to the bank and take her with you! You don't tell another customer that you would to slap another customer. You don't leave the store to walk over to Bath & Body to chat! You don't sit in the back office on your a** and put your make-up on. You don't down grade one associate to another associate and YOU don't make a comment about an associate who is gay about their choice. That's a good way to get a lawsuit.You don't take two weeks off cause your BOYFRIEND broke up with you...........This is your two....manager & assistant. This is what you have working for your company. Oh check out the managers Facebook page, Susan Buchanan, It is very disgusting.Oh by the way she also stated that she was going to bust hell wide open and she will be the ring leader, also discussed in store. Somebody needs to get a grip on that store. I seen the comments on you all's page and it all so negative.

I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING ELSE FROM THIS STORE EVR AGAIN..MY GRAND CHILD GOT OVER $100 WORTH OF CLOTHS FROM THIS STORE FOR XMAS. FROM DIFFERENT FAMILY MEMBERS.(WHO DIDNT KEEP THE RECIEPTS) AND THEY WERE TOO SMALL,,ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS RETURN THEM FOR A BIGGER SIZE..I DIDNT WANT ANY MONEY BACK OR DUE BILL. JUST AN EXCHANGE, AND I WAS REFUSED, GAVE SOME NUMBER TO CALL AND THEN WAS TOLD THEY ARE GOING TO FLAG MY NAME FOR FUTURE RETURNS..BUT NO REASON WHY...I FELT LIKE I HAD STOLE SOMETHING, IM NOW CONTACTING THE CORPORATE OFFICE AND IF I DONT GET ANY HELP I WILL CONTACT THE BBB..I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE EVER AGAIN

I tried to register about 5 times last night, gave all the info. required, all it would say, validate your email, I did, confirm your email, I did. This has never happened with other stores. I wanted to shop tomorrow, for gifts, & would like to have a cupon which my friend told me about. My printer is not working,so I thought you might give me a code
# to use.

To whom it may concern. I am a frequent loyal customer of The Childrens Place. However I recently was at one of your stores at Hillcrest Mall, and recived the most appauling service. The woman who serviced me had dark hair and I believe she may actually be managing that location. I simply asked a question in regards to upcoming possible sales, and I recieved pure attitude. She left me feeling insulted and I did not end up purchasing anything in the store that day. As a retail manager myself, I have trained my staff to be informaive and polite. She was niether. In a time when our economy is fluctuating, it is important to inform you that employees such as this one, could be damaging your buisness. I may never walk into that location again. In fact I will be sharing my poor experience with friends and family so that they do not have to recieve the very poor service I got that day. sincerely , a very dissatisfied customer.
