We have Time Warner Oceanic in Hawaii and they do give good service. However, the policies of the Mainland offices are a negative. The navigator program for their digital box turned off service if left on for 4 hours on the same channel, updated in the middle of the night making a blank in the middle of the movie we were recording on our personal DVD recorder from the time navigator was instituted. In addition the guide letter size was so small we needed driving glasses to read it and, if we changed the size, it messed up the picture. Navigator is a disaster. We are happier since we got rid of the box and went with straight cable.

They provide a free modem for our phone system but charge for it if we also have internet with them. They foolishly suggest we buy our own modem but we have to keep theirs for the phone - meaning 2 modems and more wires and junk laying around. They started at $4 and are now up to $8. If it weren't for that ridiculous charge, we wouldn't be looking around for other providers and we'd stay with Oceanic.

This company is a joke. Maybe when the new group comes in things will improve. Not for me I closed my account and within 3weeks I get a letter from a collection agency attempting to collect a bill???????????what???????????? 3 weeks??????????? It’s a summer camp and I don’t have Time Warner in NH. I called to have them send me a box to return the cable boxes. After making it VERY CLEAR that I needed them sent to my NH address they still sent it to the ME address!!!!! I’m glad I called to find out what happened to the box they were sending. GOD I don’t need the FBI/CIA /NSA/State Police/Local Police/National Guard at my door so I can write my check for 22 cents

POOR SERIVCE. TOLD A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL ON SAT AND HE WOULD COME OUT AND FINISH FIXING PROBLEM. CALLED JASON X 3 . MAIL BX FULL, NOT EXCEPITING PHONE CALLS. CALLED TIME WARNER GOT NO HELP. I WISHED I HAS STAYED WITH CENTRUY LINK. SOMETIMES DECREASE IN COST IT NOT HE BEST THING. IF IT IS CHEAP THERE IS A REASON FOR IT. SERVICE AS TO DATE HAS BEEN BAD.

Every time it rains the amplifier box at the road fills up and damages the equipement. You would they would fix their

2/8/2014 Having trouble with Time Warner Cable connection again!
Having trouble with cable connection again! It just keeps rebooting for two days now! Can't seem to get anyone to talk to you always that stupid voice machine whatever happened to customer service where there was an actual person that would try to help you? This happened one before and we had to take the box back to the office twice because it wouldn't work. They were upgrading all the boxes they said. So much for their upgrade the cable service is the pits!!!!!!!!!!! Then they raise your bill on you for service you don't get. Great job Time Warner!!

1/20/2014 Time Warner Cable - This is it we've had it with Time Warner
This is it we've had it with Time Warner. They make almost everything you want to record in HD now you don't have a choice so HD takes up more room and if you go over your percentage it starts erasing the programs you have already recorded. Now even though our DVR says we have enough to record what we were watching it deleted everything we had on our list. We are sick of Time Warner and are going to look at other options.

1/11/2014 Time Warner Cable - Time Warner's customer service in New York is just Bad
Time Warner's customer service in New York is just unfathomably bad. I called them after they cut off my NHL Center Ice package. Turns out they claimed to have never had it on to begin with. I tell them the channels that it was on, and they claim that those channels don't carry the Center Ice package. I'D BEEN WATCHING NHL CENTER ICE ON THOSE CHANNELS FOR THE PREVIOUS 2 MONTHS AND THEY HAVE THE NERVE TO TELL ME THIS BALD-FACED LIE THAT THOSE CHANNELS DON'T CARRY IT? I know this is a bald-faced lie because I hung up, called back, got a different customer service agent on the phone, and she worked out the problem without telling me this same bald-faced lie. Also, every time there is a service problem they claim it's a problem with the box, so just bring it to our office and we'll exchange it for you. First of all, no. It is never a problem with the box because the service problems always seem to magically work themselves out within 24 hours without having to go to their office. Second, you can be rest assured that no matter how long they claim the wait is at their Manhattan office it is always at least twice, usually three times, as long. Just go to their office at 96th and Broadway any time and you will see 20 or 30 customers milling around with no place to sit, waiting for their number to be called. I have a semi-defective remote control that I am avoiding having to take to their office for as long as humanly possible because I know I'll have to wait at least 90 minutes for someone to just hand be a new remote.
