I'v had 5 units. I just don't learn my lesson. when they work, they are OK, but each and every time I connect them to the computer, there's a problem. Ane every time I have to call. Well, this IS the last straw. Before they helped every time any time. Now they have "hours". To me, it's a sinking ship. Time to go elsewhere. Ad fast!

Just bought a new tomtom, and the charging cord is the wrong one with a very different connection that in no way fits the unit. Bought at a very large chain store, with a no return electronics rule. went to this website, can't find parts dept. called the no. and waited and waited for over 25 min. gave up. Don't buy tomtom if you want reliability and tech support!

9/11/2015 TomTom - I try to install it on the device and then it tells me the memory isn't sufficient
I purchased an update for my GPS device, had to give in the serial number so the system recognizes it and knows what software to sell to me to update it. I purchased the software. I try to install it on the device and then it tells me the memory isn't sufficient. Asked to return the money at CS, no response whatever. horrible

3rd TomTom I've owned like the units-customer service sucks doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that one person may have several vehicles, has no one at TT figured out how to allow more than 1 TT per e-mail address. Even if I only had 1 vehicle and one registered TT, getting the old TT (that is no longer functioning) removed is a large hassle. If I would have thought about it more and remembered what a hassle it was to get the old one removed and the new installed in the past I probably would have bought my unit from another manufacturer. The website keeps sending me to other sites that do not address the issue.

6/2/2014 I bought a new TomTom to replace my old one. The
I bought a new TomTom to replace my old one. The new unit will not stick to the windshield or on the disc attached to the dash but continues to fall off on to the floor! I have tried unsuccessfully to call the company many times. The factory outlet store refuses to talk with me and the number they give me to call does not answer the phone other than to put me on hold with continuous music and a periodic message saying all representatives are busy with other customers. What a joke! This is not customer service!

If there was a zero I would choose that. I purchased the most expensive Tomtom 5 years ago. When my husband updated it (plus didn't have choice...it updated automatically) the touch screen didn't work. Called CS and they said it died...nothing they could do except give a 20% discount for another one. Excuse me, it worked fine prior to the upgrade. Like I am going to use the 20% off coupon to buy another piece of junk! One would think that after spending that amount of money I would get more than 5 years out of a GPS. I could have purchased a new less expensive one each year. I do not recommend purchasing anything from Tomtom.
