I simply tried to renew my Trend Micro Anti-Virus service but the software would not allow me to renew. When I called Trend Micro I was mistreated by three different employees. No help, bad service, arrogant company and employees. I do not recommend...buyer beware.

8/24/2015 Trend Micro. Really bad customer service
Trend Micro.
Really bad customer service. Spoke with agent in support name John about renewal of their services;
stated he was not able to stop automatic renewals, some one would call within {24} hours, never heard
from them.
Please be warned, their system does not work well at all.

1/26/2015 I have not had Trend Micro on my computer in years
I have not had Trend Micro on my computer in several years. I did not have automatic renewal with them. Just received my credit card statement and they had billed me for renewal. They had my old card number on the renewal email. I called my credit card company, they immediately credited my account and put a block on Trend Micro so they could not do it again. From the comments apparently they have done it to others. Not really sure what agency we need to report this type of behavior to but I'm going to find out.

For the second year in a row. Trend has debited my card without approval. I found out if you buy at Best Buy they automatically submit your CC info for Auto renewal. Take action when buying, make sure you direct them otherwise. I will still use Trend, but I will purchase myself.This is unethical in the hidden actions for renewal.

I tried for one month to cancel my auto-renewal. There was no way to do it, as the system would not recognize my last year's order, and would not give me a new order number until AFTER it was automatically renewed. Some customer service. I will NEVER buy anything from this company EVER again.
