4/1/2016 UHAUL - Rented a pick-up on Friday, March 25, 2016
Rented a pick-up on Friday, March 25, 2016 returned it same day approximately 4 hours later. Paid with a debit card. We over estimated the amount of miles that we would use. When we returned the truck we were quickly checked-in outside by a man with a handheld device. He told us that we would be due a refund of $28 and some change on our debit card. On Monday, when the refund still was not showing up I called the local U-Haul dealer that we used. I hate to sound rude, but the man that answered the phone didn't sound especially sharp. When I explained the situation he said that they showed a credit had been made and that I would have to call corporate. Upon hanging up with him I did just that and spoke to a woman named T.J. who was pleasant enough but said that it could take 3-5 business days. On Friday, April 1st exactly one week from the day we rented the truck I once again called corporate. This time the woman who I spoke with was not quite as pleasant and informed me that I would need to call again on Monday since this was the 5th business day and the day was not over yet. I told her that I thought this was rather ridiculous but that I would do just that.

From the looks of previous comments/ratings this seems to be a common problem. I've learned my lesson and IF I ever rent from U-Haul again, I will be sure and under estimate my miles. Hopefully the money will show up in my account by Monday or if I do have to call back, that they will make good on their credit to my account. I hope that I am just being pessimistic but I am doubtful :(

1/14/2016 UHAUL - I had the pleasure of speaking with "Dom" at customer service
Today I had the pleasure of speaking with "Dom" at customer service. He was a pleasure to deal with; informative, very polite and extremely helpful. While not able to resolve my issue directly he took the time to take the information from me and thereafter sent up to the corporate level a "customer objection " reference #1022976. for further consideration. He is to be commended as to the professional manner in which he handled this situation.

9/10/2015 UHAUL - I was charged for and not refunded for miles that I didn't use and I'm getting lies
I was charged for and not refunded for miles that I didn't use and I'm getting lies and the runaround about my refund.The lady said they gave me 30 miles, which was a damn lie. I paid for them and she can't explain it. They are liars. In SC, I had no problems with being refunded. But Capital Blvd in Raleigh, they're bold faced Liars!

8/31/2015 I contacted UHAUL Customer Service on August 11
I contacted UHAUL Customer Service on August 11 and received a reply stating that I would have a decision within 2-3 Business Days. That was 11 Business Days ago and still no action. I emailed the customer service person who emailed me this morning and have heard nothing back. I must say that U-haul and the phrase "customer service" really don't seem to go together. The trailer damaged my truck bumper to the point where it needs to be replaced. I am frustrated with UHAUL.

9/9/2013 UHAUL - Tried using U-Haul e-mail for customer service,
Tried using U-Haul e-mail for customer service, filled it all out, but it would not send.
Tried U-Haul phone customer service, got transferred to twice to someone who could help me
with my problem, to no avail. They don't answer my type of question.
I felt I got the wrong wiring hooked up and I could have burned up my new Hylander.
I will have to get it changed. Should have been 30 amp wire and not 10 amp wire.

5/17/2011 UHAUL - This online site seems difficult to navigate. I
This online site seems difficult to navigate. I only wanted to make a comment not have to participate in a survey of companies.

When I contacted UHaul on-line I was basically provided information that stated I could
buy boxes at the indidivual store location. That turned out not to be true. No matter which store I checked; their inventory said they didn't carry boxes. How frustrating to
ultimately discover that I couldn't see or purchase one box. One box is all that I needed. Maybe two max . . but in order to even have them shipped to me the order needed to be a minimum of $25.00. The flat wardrobe that I wanted was only $6.95. So . . does that mean that I would have to by five boxes?? This whole experience is not helpful. Not only do I not have the box I needed to ship this item, but I spent a lot of time trying to find out that actually none of your stores carry boxes anylonger. What a shame.
Not a good way to build customer relations.
