Advice for those who must ship UPS or lose a sale. Insist that your customer make all shipping arrangements. If they don't have one, they should get a UPS account number, have them go online and create all documents necessary, make sure waybill is marked "collect" "insured" and have them email them to you. After you receive the doc's have them go back online and schedule the pick up. There, now you are not responsible for anything UPS does. Same goes for ANY international shipment. If you are importing, and the seller claims to pay all freight charges, insist that you see a copy of the waybill before they ship or you could get stuck with a huge bill from some international brokerage firm. Understand all related documents/laws/rules or don't import and export!

No organization by itself is perfect, but this one is far away to make an effort. I have been desapointed with UPS services. I was sent a package from the USA since last month and apparently it has been lost and now UPS is claiming to haven't received my package...In order to cover up their mistakes they are pretending to retrace my lost package.

I think the UPS top managing leadership should review their employees potential and discipline, reframe new policies to bring back trust and protect customers interest.

DO NOT SHIP UPS INTERNATIONAL, THEY ARE HORRIBLE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE>I ordered some reagents samples from Germany to Miami, freight was paid buy Germany Company but custom expenses not so when UPS whent to the address Hotel that package was going to be delivered they didn't left it because the reception of the Hotel was not going to pay for the guest name, so on friday 24 that they went for first time it figures in the web "Hialeah, FL, United States 24/02/2012 10:09 A.M. The driver was unable to collect funds on the 1st delivery attempt. A 2nd delivery attempt will be made".the ups #1Z94057A6699430276.
Yesterday 1300 hours after seen in the web this note I called international customer service and charge in my CC the $21 of custom chrges and they offer to return in the afternoon. I thought they will comply with this or if not today Saturday 25 morning they will do it. Mu guest was going to bring me tomorrow to Lima,Peru this package, But OH Sorprise I saw in the web today same note than yesterday and I call again and they told me THAT DELIVER WAS PROGRAM FOR MONDAY 27 BECAUSE SATURDAY THEY DO'NT WORK DDELIVERING PACKAGES.

Good afternoon. A lady by the name of Charlotte from a company called "shutterfly" in Shopton Rd, Charlotte, NC, 28217 is trying to use UPS to deliver a package to me in Shanghai, China. My address in Shanghai is "Gascogne Apartments, 8B, 1202 Huai Hai (M) Road, Shanghai 200031". UPS is refusing to deliver the package because they "can't find my address". Huai Hai Road in Shanghai is the equivalent of 5th Avenue in New York City, so I can't understand why UPS won't pick up the package from Shutterfly and quickly deliver it to me in Shanghai. PLEASE assist with this and let me know what I can do to get UPS to deliver me this package. Thank-you. Steven

THIS IS LITERALLY THE WORST OPTION TO USE FOR SHIPPING. I ordered a package on EXPRESS SATURDAY AM DELIVERY, from edmonton to toronto, on Friday morning. It was picked up by UPS at 11:17 am on Friday morning. Today,Monday, it is STILL IN EDMONTON and has not left. There is NO ONE available to take my calls, and when I finally tracked down the warehouse number the women told me she had no idea where my package was, and that it was somewhere in a pile of packages. I hope someone loses their job over this.

DO NOT SHIP UPS INTERNATIONAL, THEY ARE HORRIBLE WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE IF YOU NEED ASSISTANCE! I shipped a repaired item from the USA to Europe. Apparently they claim a missing document was not included with the at least 4-5 documents I included with the package (what more do they want?!?!?!). The package was stuck in customs and UPS never contacted me. Three weeks later, the package is still not released and neither UPS customer service in Netherlands or in the USA can tell me which document they need! Instead of contacting the shipper for the document, they keep buggin' the receiver. Common sense...if they needed a document, would you not contact the shipper first who has access to ALL documents and provided the documents?!?!?!?! I asked for a refund for the lousy customer service, the lack of communication, and LIES (because they said it would be released last week but still no sign of it), and they said "it can be considered after the package is delivered".....if would have been easier to have the package returned and shipped through FedEx than waiting for this people to attempt to do their work well.

3/9/2011 UPS (International) - I made the mistake of using UPS to ship documents
I made the mistake of using UPS to ship documents to Venezuela,just because I was in a hurry, and their office was closer to home than Fedex. I didn't mailed the documents via post office, $25, and paid the $80 fees to UPS because it was an URGENT delivery. One week later no body knows were my documents are. I agree with te coment of worse service ever.

First time I used UPS to ship a package and they damaged it. I have shipped the identical package 4 times via FEDEX to Canada and hasn't been damaged yet. Yes, it is possible that UPS had a bad day...but dealing with claims is horrendous!!!!!!! OMG THEY ARE HORRIBLE. FEDEX Claims is so much easier to deal with!
