5/26/2016 I joined with WIX and have had nothing but trouble
I joined with WIX and have had nothing but trouble with the site, It " has to be accessed " (so they say) through Google but when you try it doesn't work. I bought a mailbox yesterday ( £ 40 + ) which I can't get into, and have spent 24 hours (give or take an hour here or there ) trying to get help from them over the phone.. I have just sent e-mails asking for help, as I am not a computer buff ( at 72 yrs old I don't need to be) and would appreciate some professional guidance, I think a new hosting company is the best option, so be advised, all the comments on this page are wholeheartedly endorsed by me.

4/18/2016 Wix - No customer service. Lying throughout. Demanded
No customer service. Lying throughout. Demanded refunds, except I wanted the domain I purchased transferred. Their response about their 60 day requirement before they would release the domain I had purchased.

"The 60-day "transfer-prohibited" status is an ICANN regulation relevant to all new domain purchases and is not part of Wix's Policy. "

As it turns out this is a COMPLETE FALSE STATEMENT. I purchased another domain from another vendor and it had the same restriction. That company released it immediately. Within minutes it was released.

Wix.com is a sack of stinky stuff. And you know what I mean. Stay away from them for your own sake.

I have been a customer for years even on the free domains there has never been a problem they have a excellent support team the website is easy to do your own self without spending the thousands of dollars it would take to have someone build your website. I purchased my domain from Google domain (they are the best) and they have Wix as one of the people they do business with to help you set up your website Five Star Wix Five Star Google from a very satisfied customer!!!

Customer Service is the name of the game. When the company launched a customer service number was available, although wait times were excruciatingly long. The absence of a contact number against the backdrop of so many complaints is symtomatic of a idea that is not as intuitive as the developer's imagined.

12/24/2015 I want to know why the Wix website that I built is not up?
I want to know why the website that I built for my customer isn't up and running. You have taken out the price of the site plus the price of the domain name out of her account. It was up and running for a month and now I'm getting complaints from her customers plus the owner. Let me know immediately. I was going to use you for another site, but I will not go through this again. There is no one to talk to as far as a support system which is ridiculous. Please send me an email telling me what happens!

12/17/2015 Wix - This is my 2nd complaint and I received no contact or any service.
I ha my website as a Flash website f 3.5 years and recently built a brand new HTML one published it and moved my premium account to it nearly 2 months ago. I was told it would only take 24-48 hours... and still all my website points to is my business profile. I've gone into my domain hosting account and change the DNS settings myself. AND flushed my DNS on my laptop but still I cannot link up to my website!!! This is my 2nd complaint and I received no contact or any service. Just WHAT am I paying for???
