I have a complaint for the zellers franchise,about 8-9 months ago I bought a home style water dispenser, the machines cable is overheating, every day my wife tells me about the cable burning up, my mother an 89 year old woman lives with us and she is scared for her life thinking with good reasonn that the cable will burn the house down, I called themand spoke to a person and never really gave me an answer or even tried to give me a solution to this problem, if the cable problem persists and my house burns down the responsable party is Zellers Co. and if needed I will give this case to my lawyer bring this to court and possibly publish this to the newspapers.

I just spoke to Darren, store Manager at Zellers inPickering. What an absolute rude person. I told him about the advertisement in last weeks paper that states quote 60%-80% off everything., it does not say (some exceptions apply) anywhere on the page, I scanned it thoroughly., as I have seen this before., but not last week. When I bought items on Tuesday, the items were only 40% off. Yes 40%. When I spoke to Darren he said, quote, "If you do not like it, go shop some where else". I asked if any items came down today., his answer was 'I do not have to answer that, in fact you should not even be phoning us'. I said he was being rude, answer was, ' I do not care'. wow. A manager talking to the public this way. Clearly this man is taking this loosing his job, out on the public. Glad you goys are going, hope Target has better customer service.

My daughter is looking for a discontinued carpet that she put on her gift registry at Home Outfitters in Peterborough, They told her they sent the carpet to Zellers. We have been unable to find it after driving to several cities.

7/26/2012 Zellers (Canada) - Numerous times I have shopped - or tried to shop -
Numerous times I have shopped - or tried to shop - at Zellers Northgate - Winnipeg only to be very disappointed with their sales.
About a year ago - they had bath towels on sale - a big table of them - I selected 5 or 6 as the price was quite good. When I got home I realized that I was over-charged on three of them. I took them all back with the receipt - and was told that those three were not on sale. They were all on the sale table - and numerous ones. She told me to go back to the table and select the sale ones - I told her no - I returned all of them, good price and all.
There have been instances in between as well.
Today I was looking at the wool - a bin 99ct a roll, looked to be all the same co. and quality. I picked out a red one and white one - get to the cashier - the white one is $4.00 and yet - there were numerous white ones all in the bin. I told her to cancel the sale - this happens very time I shop at Zellers - from now on I will never shop at Zellers again and it doesn't matter how good their supposed sale is! I'm not the only one experiencing this crap.

5/17/2012 Zellers (Canada) - May 15 2012, I bought a patio set from Zellers
May 15 2012, I bought a patio set from Zellers (Hill Crest Mall in Richmond Hill), when I opened it looked used and some of the bolts and nuts were missing. I called the Zellers, to let them know that the bolts and nuts were missing and it looked like the product was either used or of very bad quality, they told me they would get the manager and he would call me back. He did not call me back. Next day I called again, they told me to call the manufacturer as it was not their problem and they did not sell me a used product. Lesson of the story, Zeller's has crappy customer service and Home Style has very shitty products! I ended up returning the patio to set to Zellers.

3/27/2012 Zellers (Canada) - I was so disappointed with the service at zellers
I was so disappointed with the service at zellers in smiths falls. I bought a dress and they wouldn't even let me exchange it without a receipt. The tags were still on the dress and I just needed a different one since when I got home I noticed threads were fraying on it. It is no wonder that this store is closing. What a horrible way they run there business. I will never shop there again especially since I can find better prices and less hassle at so many other stores.

Zellers is a very dirty dumpy flea market feel. the prices are never right at the till, and the store is seriously understaffed. Saying this as a employee , i feel the people who work hard get the hard end of the deal by the lazy staff who get hrs so they can text walk around and do nothing.. the amount of empty packages of theft i find is incredible yet zellers does nothing. Target will be a welcome change in a modern world

dec192011 I brought a tree stand on the 27 nov 2011 .When i went to use it, i found it to be broken. Ireturned to the store and exchanged it for a different one, when i installed the stand it broke the same as the frist one. I called the store where i bought it,and asked to speak to the manager,was told she was in conference and to call back.I called back 1hour and half later was told in conference.Iasked to speak to somebody else was told was not anybody able to help me.When told this iinformed the speaker i was no dummy and that all department stores had a manager as well as an assistant manager to this she hung up the phone. THE name of the store is Zellers of Chilliwack. Hopefully when the new target takes over they will interview these so called sales persons and weed them out.I am attempting to see the manager in the morning to resolve this dispute and get an apology from the female that hung up.Iam now going to walmart to buy my tree as i feel they dont know how to look after customers

I had a bad experience with the Zellers store in Hamilton, uperr James. The manager of the store has no knowledge about the stuff available in her store; her behavior was very rude and not helpful at all. 4 of them and the manager wasting my time with no help finally.
