5/15/2012 Every time it rains, my landline goes bad. There is so much static on the line that I cannot make a call out. It has been reported at least twice over the last several months. The first time I was without service about five days and one day the last time. It keeps raining on the wires from the box on Rhode Island Avenue NE, Washington. It is raining today and the phone is full of static again. Why is my service keep getting disrupted when it rains? Help me please.

5/12/2012 We got a new bundle with Verizon in February, 2012. Since that time, callers are unable to leave a message on the land line phone even though personal and/or system messages have been set up six different times. Callers get a default message, "There is no one to take your call, please call back." After six calls and having to explain the problem with each representative, it still has not been resolved. I spoke to another representative this morning (Saturday) who indicated that a repair order would be sent to the central office with repair/correction completed by Monday. What a frustrating ordeal!

4/25/2012 Saying "representative" with a loud, authoratative voice over and over and over again will eventually get you to speak with someone.

4/24/2012 Verizon is a huge nightmare I signed up with direct tv and decided to get internet with verizon, direct tv was no problem good quick service, but verizon on the other hand everyday never showed up can't reach anyone I was put from one department to another to another and had to repeat my information for each one.Very time consuming after 2 weeks of still no internet I called cox and they were here within 24 hours . and why can I never get to speak to people who speak english that should be a job requirement since your communicating with people in AMERICA. I don't now how the company is still in business I have had many people confirm exactly what I;ve gone through. DON'T GET VERIZON!!!!!

4/20/2012 I am in New Jersey and I received a call today from a Verizon sales rep regarding my 10 Verizon land lines into my office. He indicated that my contract will be up in 2 months and that I would need to switch over to a new business wireless service which will cost me an additional $145 per month. I informed him that I have land lines and he said that they will not be supporting land lines in the future. That does not make any sense to me. I have tried for over six years to get FIOS at my location and they constantly say not available in my location and now they also will not let me keep my copper lines? What is going on with this company. They did not want to provide me with FIOS, even though it is less than 100 feet down the road at a neighboring building, and then I heard that another reason was that they did not want to give businesses FIOS as it cuts into their T1 profits. T1 costs are around $500/month and FIOS is advertised for $89/month. I thought the goverment ordered then to complete the fiber build out in the state by 2006 and here it is 2012 and we still cannot get this FIOS service. Hey Verizon, the public is fed up with your poor service.... "CAN YOU HEAR US NOW!!!"

4/12/2012 4/12/12 I have had no phone service for 3 days now and can't get in touch with anyone at Verizon. I called, the phone rang for 5 minutes and then someone hung up! This company sucks! Why are they still in business? I pay my monthly bill, but I don't have service 3-5 days a month. THIS IS A HORRIBLE BUSINESS!

3/31/2012 I don't even have service with Verizon, haven't for at least two years, now they are sending me a $ 461 bill - they don't know what its for but they won't take off of it either. I have working with them for 2 months. I even have a "supervisors" number, but she never answers the phone or returns my calls. Horrible customer service. I guess my next step is the Texas Public Utility Commission. Thanks...

3/29/2012 I'm a Verizon Fios technician and let me start off with saying Verizon has no intention on spending anymore money on the upkeep of the old copper lines. If your trying to get your old landlines repaired your better off switching your phone service over to the fiber network or just switching to a mobile phone. I long for the good old days of Bell Atlantic where customer service was job one.
