I have had nothing but trouble with citi after I paid my account off,they continued to withdraw money.Extreme hassle trying to get my over payment.

I apply on-line for saving account. The girl very fast call back on the next day on 6th March 2012 and she immediately sent me courier to get the singnature. I was wondering that is in process but after few days she call again say that my signature got problem and on 13th March 2012 She sent me again the same Document for singnature. After that i keep waiting and waiting don't know what happen with the bank. Until now already another 1 week i am waiting. I got call the girl for how long time for proceed. She say have to take around 10days. And i try to search for Citibank contact number on-line but i think that is a problem for me and i start to feel this bank is not safe as what i think earlier. I think i have to cancel my saving account later (if approve).

Just to update the comment posted by "joe" who said "the 0# response does not work." I tried it anyway and I did get good results using the "0" entry after each prompt. What happened was this: I dialed the number and received the automated voice who spews out various prompts. During each prompt, I just hit the "0" on my phone and eventually, I was connected to a live "financial associate" person. I explained that I needed to speak to someone at my branch but that I could not find the phone number for my local branch. She asked if there was anything she could do to help me so I explained why I needed to speak with someone at my local branch. She asked for the zip code and asked me to hold on while she contacted the branch. After a 20-25 second hold, I was connected to someone at my local branch (I asked the person if this was the branch I was looking for and it was confirmed). So it did work. But I must add that the first time I tired the "0" response, I was connected to a live "financial associate" live person who asked for the same info. She put me on hold and we were cut-off. Not to be deterred, I tried the same thing again and it worked! Hope this helps,

I HAVE THE WORST TIME GETTING HOLD OF CITIBANK ON PHONE OR E-MAIL THEIR IS NO RESPONSE FROM ANYONE THEY ARE THE WORST BANK TO DEAL WITH ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU HAVE BUSSINESS LOAN THRU THEM,I HAVE BEEN CALLING NUMBER ON THE PAYMENT SLIP EVERY NUMBER IS DISCONNECTED I AM BEGINING TO FEEL LIKE THEY BUNCH OF CROOKS AND NO CONCERN FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS

i just want to share an experience just NOW with regards to a citibank agent name PHILLIP who called us At around 10:22 am philline time.. looking for my mom i told him yes with regards of what he simply told his name and said is this mrs...... in a loud voice i said no but im her son... hold on i knw hes laughing behind me so i listen again put my ear on the phone with out saying a word i heard him say "PUTANG INA EH HINDI NAMAN PALA SYA HINAHANAP KO SASAGOT SAGOT GAGO... Then blood started pumping to my head i shouted at him " ANU YUN SINUNG MINUMURA MO... GAGO KA WAG K NANG TATAWAG DITO KUNG MUMURAHIN MU NLNG AKO THEN I HANG UP... A few sec. after he calls back i could hear him saying "EH GAGO K NAMAN TALAGA EH... HE WAS STILL SAYING SOMETHING BAD WHEN I imediately hang up the phone... few minutes i know that it was him whos in the other side because the moment illd say hello he simply drops the phone on my face i called several numbers with no vivid answer whether is an answering machne or a parson who takes your call and pass you to a another department... no justice they should be repremanded. GOD IS WATHING YOU PHILLIP HOW DARE YOU. SHAME ON YOU.
