5/23/2012 Penny's Customer service is beyond wretched. I have emailed them three times about a complaint and a question I have with their company. Each time I get an automated response that says a customer service rep will contact me within 48 hours. As of yet, NO ONE Penny's has contacted me. I HATE BEING LIED TO!

5/21/2012 I can not stand going in to Jcpenney's anymore. I walk in there and there is not one friendly associate, I can never find anything I'm looking for, when I ask for help they look at me like I'm an alien! The associates also tell me to just do my shopping online!

5/18/2012 I must be the only customer with normal hearing . Every time I shop at Penny's in Lombard , I end up leaving early because I can't stand the noise level. Different loud music in every department . When I asked a supervisory person if at least the volume could be reduced or programs cut down, I was told that nothing could be done. As a health care professional, I am sure the continued stressful noise level is harmful to the comfort and well being of the personnel as well as the customers and certainly doesn't contribute to efficiancy . I sure would not work there and I don't need to shop there. Nancy

5/16/2012 1. JCP sent a catalog to my deceased mother, so I called and they said it will never happen again. I called to confirm that her account was closed and they could not get me information regarding her account? 2. I was late paying my bill and now I get 3 phone calls a day regarding my delinquent account. 3. I bought maternity clothes and they were not the right size... I am so frustrated with all the new changes and lack of sales...

5/13/2012 oh this will be the last time we shop at pennys and not because of the gay issue but because they cant get their crap together here it is mothers day my family orders me a ring in the size its supose to be well wouldnt you kn ow it they sent the wrong size so thanks alot to u jc penny for ruining my mothers day thanks alot and not olny all the rest of my jewlry is not of quality like they promise us it is oh im so mad its mothers day and there is nothing any of the jcp reps can do for me they cant even give me a number i guess they r tired of all of us calling them gripping them out well if u could get ur stuff together this wouldnt happen they even put me on hold just so they didnt have to deal with me sorry sacks

5/9/2012 I loved the "mother's may" insert. Read every word. Knew it would be a good one from the cover and your follow through including all mothers confirmed that. Your ad campaigns make your competition in NYC look positively old fashioned. Of course it gets me to go shopping at Penney's.

5/7/2012 After reading these comments it sounds like JCPenney has drawn the line in regards to the gay issue.You say that you want to be my favorite store? Not anymore. I am saddened to quit doing business with you after all these years. But the truth must be told that you have allowed a minority issue to sway you. I am tired of the tail wagging the dog. Good by JC Penney stores. I will go elsewhere and even pay more to avoid you. Ted p.s. I am confident to say that I speak for the majority. You ought to think long and hard about this one.

5/7/2012 Very upset at the homosexual mother couple in the mothers day tributes. I will never shop at JC Penney again. Called and added myself to the do not contact list. You are completely degrading the true family. man and woman. Two women cannot naturally have children. God Created Man and Woman. The world will not allow freedom of religion in our schools. Yet homosexuality is being shoved in our faces at every mailbox visit. Ellen as your spokesperson. No thank you. Gay rights? What about heterosexual rights?

5/3/2012 I'v been a lifelong customer of JCPenney. In fact, back in the 1970’s, it was the first credit card I obtained with my mother as co-signer. I recently received a new mini-catalog in which your latest ad campaign makes it obvious that JCPenney has turned away from its once traditional and consumer friendly style. The company has jumped on the bandwagon and succumbed to pressures of powerful special interest groups, and chosen to align itself with a political agenda having nothing to do with the merchandise being sold by JCPenney. I find this veiled attempt to sway public perception to be contrary to the JCP brand and personally objectionable. As a customer, I do not appreciate ANY overt political agenda, or fringe lifestyle, being shoved in my face or down my throat. I respectfully request that my name be stricken from your mailing list, and that of your affiliates. I no longer wish to receive flyers, catalogs, or advertisements as I will not be shopping at JCPenney in the future. I will do my best to encourage those within my sphere of influence to do the same.
