5/19/2012 How to I submit a meter reading? I have my account number, but do not have an online account as we don't pay on line. It's frustrating and not user friendly. I will not take the time to read a meter again, will just let the company estimate usage.

5/15/2012 I have sent emails to customer service with all my information TWICE. I have yet to hear anything from them. Not we have your info we will be looking into it or we need more info. So I called the number after yelling into the phone (because you have to hit a number) I want to speak to someone many times I got a very nice lady, who of course couldn't give me what I asked for (my security deposit back) as they get to keep it for a year and you only get it if your bill was paid on time for the last 12 months. Hey I live on 1000.00 a month some months something has to wait. Boy talk about a rip off this company makes money hand over foot and we stupid people who need lights and heat can't do a thing about it. All utilities should be nonprofit and then we could all pay our bills. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Where are our leaders that they can't do something about this company that uses us for profit??? Same for the oil companies is there no help for us poor people????????

5/15/2012 Ive had problems with this company from day one. Weren't they ordered to pay back all their customers? I believe they were. What robbers!

4/27/2012 My comed bill has been outrageous for months. I shut off everything and unplug a ton of stuff and still a high bill. They tell me there is nothing they can do. I even got rid of a refrigerator and still outrageous bills. The best part is, I went out of town for 12 days, pulled all plugs, left no lights on, and my bill was still highter than my neighbors who leave lights on all day, tv on, and cell phone chargers in outlets 24/7. Something is wrong, but according to Comed - no problem on their end.

4/18/2012 I received a letter from the Naperville Electric Dept. ,stating they will be installing a smart meter in the near future. I live in a area where Com-Ed supplies the electric. Is the Naperville Electric Dept. doing work for Com-Ed now

4/16/2012 im sitting on the phone for 25 min so far waiting for someone to answer. Had a horrible incident with com ed meter reader ????? who would not show ID....and continued to enter yard after being asked to see ID. who did not take usual precaution prior to entering a yard. Opened all gates left all gates opened putting house in danger. had to hop over 2 gates to even get into a secondary part of yard had no reason to b e in. When calling to see if someone from co is in neighborhood waiting....waiting.... waiting....... Im calling the police which I should have done. OOPs someone has ansered...nothing can be done!!! so much for public safty...Police called 35 min still waiting.

4/10/2012 I have been receiving calls for someone else for ages from these jerks and when i call i cant seem to contact a human! Why?!?! All i want is to let them know that my number no longer belongs to the other person, but i cant! Why, because they have been jerky enough to take away the ability to talk to a human!

4/9/2012 This company is horrible! Had there been an alternate electric company I could go to I would take my business there. The wait time to speak to a rep is always 20 minutes or longer and the service fees are ridiculous. Why should pay this company a service charge for making a payment let alone im a customer. If this is how you treat your customers, you will lose most of us. Change is good. Maybe you should consider doing so or go out of business.

4/4/2012 Was charged a $21.00 "Returned Item Charge" when the service was switched to my new unit. The old balance was $1.77 which was paid for via EFT. However, upon calls to ComEd, was repeatedly told that a "bounce" was my fault and that they would not credit this back. As a customer who has never had any problems and has paid each bill on-time and in full, it just goes to show how little you matter when there's only one utility provider.
