4/13/2012 My car was hit March 14th. Rear ended by a twenty year old with License suspended. He took his girlfriends car. Not sure what the circumstances were. He rear ended me doing sixty in a forty five. Pushed the rear of my Honda into the back seat and crunched the right front of his girlfriends Honda That was a month ago. It took two weeks for them to accept liability. Another week to notify the claims adjuster that they had. Only after I called back did the claims adjuster call me. My car is 15 years old. Well maintained and in perfect condition inside and out. Needed some detailing. They want to give me less than $3500. I cannot buy a car in the same shape with the same 30 mpg for what they are offering. The adjuster said he could give me a check today. Have tried for days to get up the ladder of command. Numerous calls, Waste of time. I like the comment up the page Document and record everything. Office of the President at Geico 1 800 824 7795. No one will call you back BUT you can leave a message.

1/6/2012 Your best bet is to record them!!!! They want to record you why not? Our office records all calls wether incoming or outgoing I play it back for the supervisor and would you believe if I told you they are jumping through hoops trying to figure out how not to loose their jobs! Best this I ever did! I am learning the hard way you get what you pay for!

12/1/2011 I have been a GEICO customer for many years. However, when I retired and bought a new vehicle, I decided that I needed fixed expenses and lowered my deductible. Of course, when I reported nearly invisible damage to my new car, I was treated as if I was trying to commit fraud. It was sickening. I told the "fraud investigator" that I really did not appreciate being treated as a criminal and I showed him my bank statement and asked him whether it looked as if I would commit fraud over $450. He agreed that I would not. Yet, the criminalization continued. However, the adjusters are the BIG PROBLEM. My claim is from 10/21/2011, it is 12/01/2011 and I still do not have my car because the adjusters do not respond to the collision repair facility unless angrily confronted by me. My car has Bluetooth, Sirius XM, a panoramic sun roof, navigation, voice control and 274 hp. The rental car they gave me is a Nissan Sentra that has NONE of these features and struggles to reach 40 mph on a slight grade. GEICO has robbed me of my new car experience, as my now not-so-new car is sitting dismantled at the dealer; GEICO robbed me of my Thanksgiving as there was no way I was driving that Sentra on a rainy 900 mile round trip. The latest adjuster has also failed to return calls and communications from the collision repair center; thus, I expect that GEICO will also ruin my Christmas and, maybe even, New Year's. BTW, I got a better policy for $600 less per year from MetLife. GEICO sucks!!!!!!! from Long Beach, CA

11/21/2011 Recently received a voicemail from a GEICO underwriter to contact her. When I did, she said that she tried to get a DMV report for my husband and none existed. In addition, my license number was under his name,as if we were trying to commit fraud. We have been GEICO customers since 1997. We have changed licenses 3x for me (03/11 last time) and 2x (2006) for him. GEICO's CSR confused my license number with my husband's when a car rental company called to verify our coverage. She probably erased my husband's number and created the fake one. Now we are being threatened with non-renewal if we don't prove that he has a license by 12/08/11. I tried calling their Escalation Department but the girl on the phone did not know what I was talking about because it does not exist. The CSR supervisor told me that if I gave her my license number and birthday, then she would try and explain what happened. First of all, why am I going to give her my good number for her to mess up? I need empathy, apology and someone who is willing to fix the error. What happened was a GEICO incompetent CSR messed up our records and instead of an apology or looking at the fact that we are long time customers, we are treated badly. I am so disappointed that I want nothing to do with GEICO. My husband copied his license number and left it for me to call them. One week later I am still fuming. GEICO needs an ESCALATION Department and more competent CSRs on weekends.

10/30/2011 10/29/2011 I agree, Geico is not a reputable company. After insuring with them for years, someone hit my car within a parking lot. The person that hit the car was also a client of Geico. When I called in the accident they wrote the car off. They should have picked up my car from the location before the end of the day. My car was in the lot for days after they were supposed to pick it up. I called daily but to no avail. They picked up the car and dumped it in a lot. The day I was expected to receive payment for the car I was told the car is being repaired. The outside mold of the car was damaged, the mud was stuck in the areas of crevices. They have no respect for people property. I hate their advertisements as well. Who wants to sit and watch a walking green lizard. I certainly would not recommend Geico to anyone.

10/4/2011 Geico has no empathy for thier customers that are in vulnerable positions. I was told by a Geico rep(Nancy Truglil)"Your on your own"WTH what am I paying insurance for? To be abused. Im out of here. I cant even stand to watch a Geico commercial. You are all phonies. Cathy in Maryland

9/28/2011 Never have had a problem iwth Gieco. They have always treated us with honesty and profesional courtesy. If one treats them well, they work well with you. Sounds as if these folks got up on the wrong side of the bed. We have always gotten fast and good service from Gieco. We plan on staying with them for car and house and other insurance needs as they arrive.

7/26/2011 Any advice on how to get GEICO to change the vehicle on my claim. This will result in an incorrect car fax report for my other vehicle. Sucks..... GEICO "managers" don't care about your policy holders, only about how good they look to their bosses! If you cared about your loyal customers, you wouldn't have to have a complaint site to get things done!

7/25/2011 Geico professionals are un professional. When I talked to one, we first agreed that my policy begins on 7/15, I called back and requested that my policy begins August so l could inform my current insurance providers. Instead, on 7/14 Geico was trying to take money out causing me an overdraft. Geico went ahead and still tookk $88.44 to insure my car for July. I cannot insure one car twice. I am a minimum wage earner and live pay check to pay check. Getting my money back has been and still is a hassle. I hope this is my final attempt to get my money back without causing me another overdraft.

7/14/2011 Geico does not send a cancelation notice, or give phone call of cancelation. Sorry, was put up on shelf, because I couldn't pay. My bad, forgot about. Now i have $8 a day to pay for 2 cars for about 3 weeks!! I'm already living check to check as is... don't know how I'll pull this one off! Thanks Geico for informng me!!

7/11/2011 I had an issue with an agent of geico today. I have been a good driver for many years, Got into a fender bender, no injuries or anything elese, gave statment to thje rep that was handling my investigation and she treated in an unproffectional manner when we were not recorded. I gave her my side of the story and she told me it was my fault before compleating the hole investigation, thats when i asked to speack to a superviser, she said he's on the phone leave a voice mail she would not help me any further, Asked for any other number or phone transfer, anyone eles who cared about a geico customer and leave hime with a voice mail. Airent i the customer? Arent you suppose to be on my side no matter what. Called 3 other numbers seems the same if you have an issue with a rep you cannot make a complaint and thats what what my rep told me aswell. well lefe a message for the superviser.... Tic toc Tic toc........
