5/11/2012 On 4/18 in Milan Italy, I tried to obtain seats on fl. BA0573 and fl AA 6180 out of Heathrow. On the web site, I was told to contact AA airlines. My itinerary returning had been cancelled. The agent told me to stay on the line which I did for 57 minutes. On my outward flight from LAX to Heathrow, there was a 45 minute delay in takeoff. Was told because of this my return flight was cancelled. When I asked if all 400 passengers were cancelled, the agent than told me I got off the plane and did not go to Europe. When I assured her I did , she stated it was on another airline. I had cross referenced the tickets with my granddaughter, who had no trouble with her ticket. It took 57 minutes to get me on a flight for 4/19. I was told to keep holding. My seats were not good and when I complained toAA complaints on line, my question as to why my return trip was cancelled was never answered. I asked for reimbursement of my telephone bill which was 65 dollars and their reply was we never reimburse for a customer checking on a flight. Remember, on Lind I was told to contact them. The agent handling the call was very rude and each communication has treated me like someone they really do not care about. I have had many delays on flights, and not once was my return cancelled. Lastly, the agent failed to put in my Advantage number and now I DID NOT CREDIT FOR THE 6,000 miles I flew back to Los Angeles.

5/2/2012 On April 19th I was supposed to catch an American Airline flight to Miami and then on to Cancun. I arrived at the airport in plenty of time for the employee to check my bag and get me on the plane, but she refused! She said that I had to be there 3 hours earlyand if you've ever been to BHM Airport you know that's a joke! I had to walk down to US Airways and I asked if there were any flights to Cancun and he told me he was boarding a plane then. I asked if I could get a ticket and board, and he was kind enough to help me catch that plane. There is no excuse what American Airlines put me through. When I finally talked to an actual person today, she would not budge one inch! I thought the customer was always right, but not anymore! I will never fly American again not only because of this, but because you can tell they are going under by not even passing out drinks or offering snacks on their flights. Delta is the way to go! They treat you well. We own a business and if we treated people like American treated me today, we would be out of business.NEVER AGAIN!!! I could not reccomend that airline to anyone not even would I let my dog fly on it!!

5/2/2012 Pretty bad when you request seating together when travling with elderly people and you call and they tell you it will cost 25.00 to change your seating! I mean really why does it always have to be about the money, resev made on Jan 7. Not even able to sit with my wife! Good start to a vac and didn't even leave the house yet!!

4/28/2012 I have two babies, a 1 years old who does not even know how to walk and a 3 years old. In my trip to miami last june, they took the stroler away from me, when I made the reservation they didn't let know, I Wasn't prepare for such terrible situation. I don't feel they treated me well, no concideration at all. I start to cry when I realize that I had to walk miles to with my children to take my next fligt to Cuba.

4/26/2012 My husband and I are Senior citizens and need wheelchairs to get around airports. Yesterday we flew AA from Chicago O'Hare to Ft. Lauderdale aboard Flight 1730 which departed at 2:50 P.M. and arrived at 6:27 P.M. While on board a stewardess noticed how crippled we were and that our return tickets did not show orders for wheelchairs. Heidi and Sally asked us about the omission and alerted the pilot. With their wonderful help wheelchairs were awaiting our arrival at the gate. Sally even helped me into the wheelchair upon my departing the plane. WE CANNOT PRAISE THESE ALERT STEWARDESSES ENOUGH. THEY ARE WONDERFUL EXAMPLES OF AMERICAN AIRLINES CUSTOMER CARE. GLORINE AND NORMAN KATANICK

4/24/2012 Where is my wife? Stranded all day in Tampa Bay. AA 815 was suppose to leave this morning. Delayed waiting on part from Orlando. It is 7:35pm now in Wichita, Ks. She was suppose to be on flight AA 670 from Dallas @ 4:15pm to arrive @ Mid Oontinent @ 5:25pm. She just called & said she was still in Tampa Bay 10 minutes ago. American Airlines need to improve on the matter of Happy Fliers & Families. No wonder you are in financial problems! I hope the delay, wasn't just a texting pilot who forgot he was working today.

4/22/2012 We were flying out of Tampa international a decided to Check our bags in curb side because there was only one woman working inside and the line resembled a nightmare. Not only did one woman get 50 people through before curb side went through 5 people, but the American airline employees were shouting and harassing customers to tip them. They were rude and nasty and even argued With us. Nice way to start the vacation. I can only hope or bags make it. I'll never fly American again. This was completely unnecessary and not acceptable.

4/16/2012 On 4/5/12 I flew out from New Orleans on flight #1925 for Dallas, Texas.when I picked up my ticket and checked my bag the ticket agent told me that I was 5 lbs. over the limit.he then told me that he woulld pass my bag through if I would take care of him with a cash kick-back of $20. He then pulled out a fold of money an inch thick and added my $20 to it. He has, no doubt, been at this scam for a very long time with many just like me. Please be advised that this kind of treatment is not going to stop here. I must think this be stopped ASAP. I expect to hear a reply from A/A soon . But if not, I will be sure to not stop with A/A.

4/10/2012 American Airlines need to be more considerate when it come to pregnant women. A woman don't know what she will endure during her pregnancy (sickness, pre-mature labour, pains, etc.) I have a friend that had a vacation planned, one week after booking her flight she found out she was having a baby. Unfortunately, being pregnant was not a good thing for her. She was so sick that her doctor put her on bed rest & told her she could not travel. You know American Airlines refused to refund the money for her ticket, even though she had insurance on her trip. That's sucks AA, you need to be more considerate. There's situations in life people sometime have no control over. (GOD IS IN CONTROL) No wonder everyone is using other airlines.......It not all about the low cost of a ticket, it's about how you are being treated while traveling etc.......I wouldn't fly AA even if I was given a FREE TICKET!!!!! SORRY!!
