Be aware Wells Fargo is not a consumer orintated co. My checking account with over $5000.00 and my savings account well over $1000.00 was Frozen for more than a momth because a check I deposited was rejected. Notice I said depopsited now withdrall. In addition they did not notify me that they are closing my account untill I went to deposit more money. No notification resulted in retuned checks with charges From Wells Fargo and the credit cards Co.they were made out to.Wells Fargo has caused me nothing but agrevation and discust.

WELL 4 CUSTOMER SERVICE REP;S LATER AND BEING HUNG UP ON TWICE I STILL CANT FIND ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHO I NEED TO TALK TO TO PAY THIS. I agree with the above comments that Wells Fargo is extremely hard to deal with. Last year I got a large lump sum amt of money from my tax return & paid for 1 years worth of payments. I called them to CLARIFY that I wanted this money to go towards payments only, not toward (??what ever it is called, I forgot). They said OK,& told me how to do that. So I did. 3 months later I get multiple calls stating I will be turned over to credit bureau for late payments if I dont make a payment "TODAY." I must have talked to 6 people over a period of 1 month and still never got it taken care of AND had to pay for 3 months worth of late fees and now that is on my credit. I am very displeased with this company!!

Wells Fargo has no one to talk with in their line of credit dispute department. I was told to fax a dispute that there was no human to talk with. Apparently there is now a service fee on line of credits for an account that we no idea existed since we moved over 12yrs ago and thought we closed the Wachovia accounts. Now it's reported 7 late payments on our credit report and can't seem to get it corrected.

their customer service is the worst. they will not acomodate or give an inch to small business owner. They put deposits on hold even when it is cash and the staff at the far west branch is one of the rudest i have ever encounter in all my years of doing business.

Bad Business - I have been a customer since 2006 and this last week because someone wrote me a bad check. Wells Fargo froze my accounts and plans to close them in 10 days. Not allowing me to have access to any of my money for gas and groceries or paying any of my bills, but they let the direct deposit come in. When I spoke to customer service I was treated like a criminal.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER........financed a new heater/air conditioner. Dec 13th was my second payment due date. Unfortunately my daughter went into the hospital (life threatening) on Dec 9th stayed 6 days...my mind was not on making my Wells Fargo payment. Daughter although is not in hospital, she is still going to have a LONG road to recovery. Wells Fargo called today regarding missed payment and spoke to my husband. He advised the rep that he would have to talk with his wife (ME), as we have had a lot of out of pocket medical expenses. The rep stated that he was notating our account as "Refusal to pay"....excuse me, no one ever REFUSED TO PAY. My husband restate the fact that he just needed to talk to me, the rep stated..so you refuse to pay!! I called Wells as soon as I got home from daughter's medical appt. Spoke to Omar who was very understanding/compassionate and I indeed made the payment, I asked to speak supervisor. The supervisor "Chad" was not as kind and when I explained that I thought the first rep who had called the house was on the verge on harassing us and what was being notated on account was in error as we had never "REFUSED TO PAY" , his reply was "we are required by law to call you (I am looking into this "LAW") and at the end of the day we got our payment. Great customer service....and this is a supervisor.

This was my second home mortgage I applied with Wells fargo and when I applied, I told them my closing date and they told me they will close before that. Now 3 days before the underwriters send the note about a document required. Our loan officer never told us to send that document. It is the loan officer and/or document specialist who should have told me on time. Now they are unable to close by Monday and I have $100/ day charge fo any delays. I just hate Wells Fargo. thier loan specialists are dumbers who know nothing and just spoils customers and do not value time. 505 out of 6 weeks period that dumb loan officer was on vacation. if he loves to enjoy vacation, he should delegate the work if he is incapable and knows nothing. He should be just FIREDDDD

I stupidly allowed the balance of a business account of mine to go negative, and don't currently have the cash easily available to pay it to zero so I can close it. That much was my fault, and I have no objection to paying off that balance. I *do* object, though, to WF's apparent contempt for me, and presumably for any customer who hits a bad patch. I have been a customer of WF since the 1980s, and my business account has been maintained there since the mid-1990s. Though times are tough right now, WF has made decent money off of me in both areas, and when things turn around, they would have made some more. Except that I have no intention of sharing any aspect of my business with a person or other entity who has contempt for me. This contempt is revealed by their utter inflexibility on settling my balance on this account. They insist that until I pay it off they will continue to charge me service fees as if they were rendering full banking services for me. They made not even a *token* gesture of flexibility. Their notion of "setting up a payment plan" is that I shall commit to a schedule, and they shall commit to doing exactly the same thing they would do if I hadn't. I see no advantage. As long as the WF machine gets even a little whiff of money coming from your direction, its representatives may appear reasonable and courteous. As soon as that is out of the picture, even if only temporarily, you become just another financial corpse to pick the gold fillings from. The contempt that forms the core of their attitude towards anyone foolish enough to deal with them is revealed. A couple of months ago, I heard a realtor relating her experience of a bank foreclosing on a house, evicting those residing in it, then turning off all the utilities, which resulted in the growth of drywall-eating mold, which began to compost the house. Literally, they let the property rot. The bank wasn't named, but Wells Fargo seemed to be operating on similar principles with me.

I am in italy trying to call wells fargo customer service. I am a former wachovia customer. The int'l number on my atm card doesn't work, and calls aren't accepted to that number or the 800 number. The web site won't let me blackberry get any information. It insists that I go to their web site with my computer(which is in the USA) and sign up for a special secure mobile browser. Just to get their G-D telephone no.to tell them about a problem. It's one of the worst customer service problems I've ever encountered. And since it's sunday I can't even call a US branch and get transferred! What kind of incompetent fool made that decision?!
