I’m trying to get a lien release from amro (abn) to refinance thru va but has not been successful.
Citi Mortgage services declines to help you if you were a customer of ABN AMRO prior to the acquisition. Apparently they only bought active loans so won’t help with an older release.
ABN AMRO wont help you either so not sure how to get a lien from 2001 released at this point.
I am in the process of trying to refinance and have been told that a Mortgage Release was never filed by you. What needs to be done to get this matter taken care of? I have a limited window where the low interest rate is available so I need a timely solution.
